LC And The Sunshine Band

So The HIlls will finally air the opener for season four next month, as they try to film everything fun (or dramatic) in the summer that the ladies experience. I’m sure there will be no shortage of drama and Lauren Conrad will be back for another season of…losing best friends? Our photogs caught up with the reality-TV star (and sometime fashion designer) shopping at Barney’s in Beverly Hills a couple of days ago. Lauren, always carrying her signature Chanel bag, took in a nice southern California summer to enjoy some wallet exercise. I wonder what they’ll have on season four that’s going to keep its audiences. As someone who actually watches the show, even I’m getting a little bored with the group and Heidi’s songs are not helping any. Will this be the last season for The Hills gang? Ah, we’ll just have to wait and see.
The Hills Don’t Like ‘The Hills’

It seems The Hills crew is pissing off some of their neighbors in the Hollywood Hills. Access Hollywood is reporting that residents of the neighborhood where Lauren, Lo and Audrina moved into last season are not too happy about their presence and the attention they are attracting. These neighbors are particularly annoyed with paparazzi presence and the MTV film crew taking up all their parking spaces. Neighborhood sources told Access Hollywood that “MTV has turned the residence into a commercial sound stage for the purpose of filming the show.” MTV, meanwhile, maintains that they are “in accordance with all required production permits, and is working with the city of Los Angeles to assist it with neighborhood concerns that have been raised.” Lauren, whose name the house is under, is also reportedly upset by the situation and has hired extra security outside her house. Neighbors are complaining, however, that the three ladies don’t even live in the house full-time and are only there for filming and/or paparazzi photo-ops. The complaints have also been taken to the City Council. How about moving everyone back to Orange County? They can hang out with the Real Housewives of O.C. or something. Yes, I think that would really work well for all of us L.A. folks.

So what’s up with our favorite feuding buds, LC and Audrina? Well, Usmagazine.com talked to Stephanie Pratt at the Crown Bar last night and she had this to say: “I don’t think everything is OK. But I’m sure they will work it out — they have been best friends for so long.” For so long? Didn’t these two just meet each other two years ago? Despite what Stephanie said, Lauren and Audrina were also at Crown Bar last night for Pinkisthenewblog.com’s launch party, where Samantha Ronson was dj’ing…so I wonder if LiLo was there. But I digress. Back to Aud and LC. Yes, they hit up Crown Bar last night with Stephanie and the trio were seen holding hands. They were holding hands because they were all drunk. They needed to support each other. And you know what, just as long as they didn’t drive home, I’m cool with that. What LC and Audrina needed were a few lemon drops and cosmos to get them in friendship mode again. Yes, it’s liquor make-up, but it’s a start. I’m sure the two will be sharing purses again soon.

And the tension continues. The hills aren’t alive today with the sound of music, folks. Instead, there seems to be a lot of meowing going on. Roommates and Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge got into a heated argument last week, according to TMZ. Audrina apparently scheduled a photo shoot with a weekly mag in their shared house in the Hollywood Hills, and LC lost it. Witnesses said that LC threw a hissy fit and got upset because she’d promised exclusives of their backyard to another magazine. An exclusive of their backyard? Didn’t we already see the backyard last season? Anyway, I guess Audrina did get permission to shoot in the backyard from Lauren’s people (I guess they have people scheduling their backyard appointments), but Lauren forgot. I’m expecting a huge fight next season on The Hills. They’re so just setting all of us up. Can’t wait!

With reports that ratings for The Hills are down, it’s probably a good idea that its stars are finding other job offers. Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner were spotted yesterday filming an AT&T commercial in Los Angeles. Good for them and their booking agents. Audrina’s filming a movie in Hawaii, so she’s got her manager working for his/her money. Speaking of Audrina, she just celebrated her birthday in Vegas without LC. I guess they’re still having drama, although they’re denying it. Word is the two still live together in their Hollywood Hills home with Lo. Of course they still live together. Duh. There wouldn’t be a show without all the house drama. There’s no way MTV would let Audrina move out. But enough about Audrina. Check out more pics of Brody and Lauren from their commercial shoot below. The make-up artist did a really good job of picking a foundation color for Brody. His face looks immaculate.
