I know Lindsay Lohan’s career isn’t exactly thriving these days, but doesn’t she even have the money to buy her own booze? According to Fox News, the fading starlet spent last Thursday night hanging out at West Hollywood hotspot Crown Bar, and late in the evening, she ordered a bottle of champagne.

When the bill came, Linds tried to get out of paying. A source dished, “Lindsay pointed over at Kellan Lutz and told the waitress just to charge his card.” The bar apparently refused to stick the “Twilight” star with the bill, and Lindsay left in tears. A week later, she still owes for that bottle of bubbly. Why do I suspect she won’t be welcomed back to the Crown Bar with open arms?

Lindsay Lohan is waging war against her sleazy dad after he released one of their private phone conversations to the public. RadarOnline reports Lindsay’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley id pursuing legal action against Michael Lohan. Holley stated she is “exploring all options both civilly, and criminally. We are talking to legal authorities in New York and Los Angeles to determine if any laws were broken. This was a private phone conversation, and if this conversation took place in California then it was a violation of the law.”

Lindsay herself took to her Twitter to diss Daddy, saying “My fathers such a loser & those recordings are from years ago. To release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them. I used to think that he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha-he’s needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN.” While Linds is hardly a model of mental stability, having a father who uses you to get his name in the press has to hurt.

Police have revealed the vast treasure trove that Hollywood Hills bandits stole from the homes of young celebs. The AP reports search warrants show the booty included diamond jewelry, designer shoes, status bags, electronics, guns and drugs which were snatched from the homes of the rich and famous by a gang that has been dubbed “The Burglar Bunch.”

The five perps, aged 18 to 27, raided the homes of Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox and Rachel Bilson. Hopefully, the victims will all be reunited with their loot very soon. Paris Hilton has already picked up her stuff from the LAPD.

These have to be the most egotistical and deluded criminals ever to think they could get away with something like this. When they started trying to sell the loot, wouldn’t some items be easily recognized? Well, some people really are too lazy to work and too dumb to steal.

he recent rash of Hollywood Hills robberies seems to finally be solved, as the AP reports four more suspects have been charged by Los Angeles prosecutors with burglarizing the homes of young Hollywood celebs.

Accused are Alexis Neiers, Courtney Ames, Diana Tamayo and Roy Lopez Jr. Already charged in the robberies of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge is Nicholas Prugo, who is expected to face additional charges. The long list of famous victims also includes Paris Hilton, Megan Fox, and Orlando Bloom.

Hilton has already received some of her property back, so hopefully the others will in the near future. The group, dubbed “The Burglar Bunch,” ripped off over $3 million in jewels and designer clothes. Let’s see how these greedy thieves like the prison jumpsuits they’ll be wearing soon.

On-and-off couple Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have been mostly off lately, but Linds is still trying to pick who Sam’s allowed to pal around with. It’s not a big secret that Sam’s family and many of her friends are less than fond of Lindsay and her tiresome antics. Now the DJ has become closer with an old bud, and her sometime lover’s not happy about it!

A haggard Lindsay spent Friday in court for a probation hearing, but that night Samantha was seen partying it up at Playhouse Hollywood with new mom Nicole Richie and her man Joel Madden. Nicole and Linds were party pals in their wilder days—like three years ago—but now Nicole has settled down to a quiet life with Joel and their two beautiful babies, while distancing herself from Lindsay’s chaotic lifestyle.

A source told Fox News, “Nicole has made it very clear to Lindsay and to their mutual friends that she wants a better life for her. Nicole hopes Lindsay will get it together and change her behavior, but until she makes a change, Nicole avoids her.” This makes Lindsay feel that Samantha is being disloyal. “Lindsay takes her hanging out with Nicole personally [and] as an attack on their on/off relationship,” the source added. It sounds like Sam is looking to get away from her toxic relationship with Lindsay and move on, but with this volatile pair, you can’t predict anything.

Hollywood starlets with large collections of fashion items and jewelry should be able to  sleep easier tonight, knowing a sticky-fingered thief is off the streets.

TMZ reports 18-year-old Hollywood hanger-on Nick Prugo has been charged with two felony residential burglaries in the cases of break-ins at the homes of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge. Still at large are Prugo’s partners in crime, who were seen on surveillance videos taken at both homes.

There are remaining unanswered questions involving the recent rash of Hollywood robberies. The first has to be whether Prugo or his associates were also involved in the similar heists at the homes of Paris Hilton, Hayden Panetierre, Rachel Bilson and Kourtney Kardashian. The last happened just this weekend, after Prugo was arrested, so it looks as though this rash of robberies isn’t over yet.

Maybe papa shouldn’t preach. After a barrage of statements about her alleged drug use by dad Michael, Lindsay Lohan is taking steps to hit him with a restraining order.

According to RadarOnline, the troubled actress is afraid Michael will take action on his statements about kidnapping his daughter and seeking a conservatorship over her affairs. Michael Lohan has been chattier than usual is recent days, suggesting an intervention for Lindsay and stating that she should have been sentenced to rehab instead of being given another year of probation to complete a drug and alcohol program.

When contacted about the possible restraining order, Michael Lohan gave this statement to RadarOnline: “Dina is the one that told her to get a restraining order. But you know what? I‘m still going to try to do everything with the courts to try and get Lindsay better.” Maybe he could help his daughter get better by keeping her business out of the press and contacting her privately. But that wouldn’t get him the attention he wants, would it?

Lindsay Lohan arrived at the Beverly Hills Court more than an hour late for for a progress report in her 2007 DUI. The judge extended probation after learning that Lohan had not completed required alcohol education classes. If Linds cuts those classes again, she could wind up in jail!

Although she hasn’t been arrested recently, Lindsay Lohan’s legal problems are far from over. TMZ has learned the actress has been ordered to appear in court Friday in regard to her 2007 DUI case. Linds is still on probation, and must take part in an alcohol education program.

Has information come out about her rumored bad behavior and drug abuse? If the fallen star fails to convince the judge of her sobriety, she could wind up in the slammer for violating her probation. Lindsay’s managed to stay on the outside for more than two years—will her luck run out?

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged dad Michael grabbed headlines with his claim that the actress is addicted to prescription drugs. Now he’s trying to rally the family to stage an intervention.

Michael Lohan told RadarOnline.com, “I had a conversation with her, her mother and everyone…over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be doing things in a pretty public way. But Dina has got to get on the same page with me. It’s a serious situation. You can’t just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing.”

Did he really expect the ex-wife who hates him and also needs Linds as her meal ticket to be a lot of help? And where does Samantha Ronson fit into his plans? Given Daddy Lohan’s animosity toward his daughter’s lover in the past, he’s not likely to get any help there, either.

Is this a father’s honest attempt to save his child’s life, or just another of Michael Lohan’s publicity stunts? He insists, “When Lindsay doesn’t adhere or listen to what I say about serious situations, I feel I have to speak publicly to put pressure on her,” he said. “If she doesn’t take my advice and do what I say…the more pressure I put on her, the more likely she is to eventually do the right thing.” Yeah, that’s really worked in the past, hasn’t it?

Admittedly, Spike TV is aimed at the male demo, so they’re choices are based more on “hotness” than acting ability. But you gotta admit, Lindsay ain’t lookin’ so hot these days. Spike was especially nasty when dissing the troubled starlet’s fading film career.

“We don’t want to have to pay 10 to 15 bucks to look at this tore up ho no mo’. Somebody get her a sitcom or a long session of electroshock therapy, just get her the hell out of the movies. Please.” Uh, hasn’t that happened already, guys?

Lindsay Lohan has never been one to keep her private life private, so it’s not surprising that her latest tiff with on-and-off lover Samantha Ronson was played out on Twitter.

The Huffington Post reports that for several hours between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, Lindsay unleashed a series of attacks on Sam, including claims of “cheats, errors” and charges that “you JUST told me that your friends are worth more than i am 2 your family & that i’m gross.”

Well, it’s no big secret that Sam’s friends and family are not especially fond of Linds, and vice-versa. Maybe it’s time this drama queen learned to have her lovers’ spats the old-fashioned way—on the phone.

After a log, dry spell, actress Lindsay Lohan has finally landed a gig—but not on the screen. The AP reports Lohan has been hired as an “artistic adviser” by the design house of Emanuel Ungaro.

In attempting to explain why, Ungaro CEO and president Mounir Moufarrige stated, “A designer only-led fashion house isn’t enough, so we’re adding a super consumer who gives us a direct channel to consumers.” I’m guessing that means, they’re hiring Linds because she like to shop a lot, even if she doesn’t have any money.

The label is probably trying to attract a younger demo, but hiring someone whose only design experience involves leggings doesn’t seem like the way to do it.

Did you think Lindsay Lohan never gets a decent role anymore because nobody wants to hire her? I did, but now it turns out that she was offered a plum role—and turned it down.

A source dished to US Weekly that Lohan was offered the role of Jade the stripper in summer blockbuster “The Hangover,” but declined. Why? Because the rarely-employed actress thought the screenplay “had no potential.” How she could have thought this film had less potential than “I Know Who Killed Me” or “Labor Pains” boggles the mind.

So 39-year-old Heather Graham grabbed the role of Jade, and is basking in the spotlight of career success again, while 23-year-old Lindsay goes to nightclubs and gets her photo in the tabs. It’s hard to believe that only a few years ago, Lindsay Lohan was one of the most promising young actresses in Hollywood.

Page Six claims LiLo scored a whopping $70,000 for hosting an all-day “pre-celebration” pool party at the the MGM Grand’s Wet Republic in Las Vegas  on Saturday. What did the starlet do to earn it? Basically, she modeled five bathing suits and danced to Michael Jackson songs. Nice work!

Linds tried to capitalize on her 21st two years ago, but the scheduled bash at Las Vegas nightclub Pure was derailed by her trip to rehab following two arrests for DUI. She had to settle for a quiet beach party in Malibu (pictured) with family and friends.

If Lohan throws herself a bigger ‘do tonight, at least she’ll be able to pay for the booze.

E! reports the battling twosome of Lindsay and Samantha Ronson split again Monday night, this time over Sam’s friendship with Nicole Richie. The mom-to-be basically hates Lindsay’s guts, and she isn’t alone. Sam has a circle of supportive pals who’d like to see her kick the Lohan habit, once and for all.

It’s too easy to say, “Oh, they’ll make up again.” But a few years ago, would any of us have thought the wild Nicole could get her act together and become a model mom? Not in a million years! So hopefully, Sam can forget Linds—with a little help from her friends.

That pesky robber who tried to break into Lindsay’s Lohan’s crib while she’s in Europe may be getting a surprise visit from the cops—because he got caught by a surveillance camera.

An LAPD spokesperson told E! News that the investigation of the attempted robbery at the actress’ Hollywood Hills home is “still underway.” The police are trying to ID a suspect who was taped wearing a white ball cap as he attempted to jimmy open Lindsay’s door. A second suspect was waiting on the street in the getaway car.

LAPD spokesman Richard French said, “We’re referring to them as a suspect so you can’t really be certain. You’ll see when you see the photos.” So show us the photos already! Wonder if it’s anyone Lindsay knows?

Two weeks after being dumped by GF Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan is back to her old ways—including overindulging in liquor and men.

Page Six reports the sometime actress is “a complete and utter wreck” who goes through “a different man every night,” including “90210″ actor Kellan Lutz and British paparazzo Chris Jepson. Linds is also back to prowling the clubs, hitting as many as six in one night.

Hey, it’s not like she has to get up in the morning to go to work, or anything important like that.

It’s been quite awhile since Lindsay Lohan managed to land an acting job, but she may have found something that’s right up her alley—appearing in a sexy Vegas show!

FoxNews reports Lohan was flown to Las Vegas this weekend aboard the private plane owned by the producer of the racy striptease review “Peepshow.” Linds attended the opening and met with the show’s director. “Peepshow” currently stars Kelly Monaco and former Spice Girl Mel B, but was written for rotating leads. Monaco plans a return to “General Hospital” in three months, leaving the spot open for a new actress.

Supposedly, both Holly Madison and Brooke Burke are being considered for the part, but Lindsay could have a leg up on the competition. A source blabbed, “People forget that she (Lohan) is a ‘triple threat’ — she can act and sing and dance. She feels that this would really revitalize her career and give her some serious theater cred.”

Maybe so, but only if she shows up every night sober and ready to work. Can she maintain her already shaky hold on sobriety while spending months in Sin City? Since she was spotted after the show drinking vodka and soda with a splash of cranberry, the prognosis doesn’t look good.

Sam’s mom Ann Dexter Jones told People, ”She’s doing great. She’s really, really well.” This isn’t a major surprise, since Sam was always the sane one in that ill-fated duo.

Mom added, “She’s always working. But I don’t pry. I’m giving her her space. She’s strong and smart and with a great heart.” But don’t expect Dexter Jones to dish on Linds. “Sam is a strong, fabulous girl … But I think it is good that I don’t comment on Lindsay.”
