Prune Face

No, I’m not calling Ashley (or Mary Kate) Olsen prune face. That would just be mean. And just in case you were wondering, Ashley’s the top pic and Mary Kate is below. I think. Your guess is as good as mine. Okay, back to prunes. Well, according to OK! magazine and their “source”, the Olsens get their signature grins by saying the word prune before each photo. I tried this technique and although I wasn’t looking in the mirror, I didn’t feel a smile when I said prune. I know what I would get if I ate prunes, though, and it wouldn’t be a smile. But that’s another story. Oh, and to help you tell them apart, the source had this tip - Mary-Kate has slightly thinner lips and more of a playful grin, while Ashley tends to go for a full-on pout. Yeah, I looked at the pictures again and still can’t tell. Oh, well, I’ll try again next time.
Neighbors Don’t Like The Olsens

Let’s just pretend there are two of them in this picture. They’re identical, so it works. The NY Post is reporting that the Olsen twins are annoying their West Village neighbors in New York. “The bodyguards in their SUVs are always getting in the way of our alternate-side parking routine,” said one resident of the 100 block on West 13th Street. “You’d think the president was living here.” The twins left another Manhattan apartment at One Morton Square because it was already overly exposed. And from the sound of things, this new address is not going to be too much of a secret, either. Oh, well.
Shoes Are Overrated

What girl (or guy) hasn’t walked around barefoot after a much deserved pedicure? Mary Kate Olsen is no different. Not wanting to destroy her newly pedicured feet, MK decided to bare it all (her feet) and air dry those suckers. Good idea. Our photogs found her yesterday in Beverly Hills and, as usual, she made sure the photogs didn’t get too many face shots of her. She’s really good at this, by the way. There’s nothing really new on the MK front. She’s working on a coffee table book with her twin. She’s probably dating some scraggly-looking dude whom she’ll dump soon, and she wears big sunglasses. What else? Hmm, that about covers it. You’re very welcome.
Mary Kate Gets Her Hair Did

Mary Kate Olsen also took advantage of the sunny weather in L.A. today, going to the hair salon to get her hair done. Obviously these are pics of her before her appointment, my lovelies. She also took some time to get some java at the local Coffee Bean in West Hollywood. Mary Kate is known to hate the paps, so it’ll be rare to see her smiling in photos. Mary Kate and sis Ashley just announced that they’ll be putting out a coffee table book about folks who have inspired them. I wonder if they’ll have any of their old Full House folks featured. I’m sure Uncle Jessie had some influence on them. Maybe not. If you’re an Olsen twin fan, I’m sure you’ll be looking forward to their new project.
MK Checkin’ On The Manse

You can’t underestimate the Olsen twins. They have a billion-dollar empire and have their hands on every project they work on. I guess this would include building a new house because Mary Kate was found visiting the construction site of her Malibu home. Check out her digs. Very nice indeed. Is Full House still on TV somewhere, maybe Nick at Nite or something. Anyway, I like the fact that she visits her house while it’s being built. You have to be very hands-on with something of this magnitude. And hello, with a Malibu address, I’m sure she’s paying a pretty penny for that sucker. Take a good look at this lovely house, ladies and gents, because I’m sure it’ll be home to a lot of wild parties starring young Hollywood soon. And really, who knew such a tiny person would need all that space. At any rate, happy house building, MK.
