Now is not the greatest time to be trying to sell your multi-million-dollar home—just ask the famous names who’ve seen their pricey real estate linger on the market for months.
But the LA Times reports former Spice Girl Melanie Brown was lucky enough to unload her swanky Hollywood Hills pad for a cool $3.14 million, after listing it late last month for $2,999,999.
Real estate agent Charmaine DeGraté told the Times, “Given the current economic and real estate markets in Los Angeles, Melanie and Stephen [Belafonte] are delighted. They plan on expanding their family and will need a larger home.”
Since the last house had has four bedrooms and four baths, they must be planning to do quite a bit of “expanding!”

Mel B Is Estranged From Family

The family of former Spice Girl Melanie Brown claim she’s cut off all contact with them—and her controlling husband Stephen Belafonte is to blame!
Brown’s mom Andrea and sister Danielle told the UK News of the World that they haven’t spoken to Mel in five months, saying “She is wrapped up in her own little world.” Danielle added, “Mel hasn’t spoken to her own mother in months! She has a husband now so she just doesn’t find the time. He doesn’t help. To be honest, I don’t think he’s a very nice person.”
Belafonte has been the subject of cheating rumors and is also suspected of using his famous wife for her money and celebrity. It’s a shame Mel can’t stand up to him and mend fences with her family. She’ll regret it someday.

Scary Shows Love For Sporty

Showing that the Spice Girls reunion tour is not just for money (okay, it could be a bit about that) Mel B, aka Scary Spice, came by the Mint club last night to support her fellow Spice Girl/namesake, Mel C (Sporty to all the Spice Heads). Just fresh from a very successful run in Dancing With The Stars, Mel B looked very svelte and yummy, hanging closely to her new husband, Stephen Belafonte. I’m diggin’ the old school Spice Girls baby tee, too. Talk about representing her crew to the fullest. As usual, we have more photos for y’all to enjoy.
