Mena Suvari and a friend were spotted leaving the General Barber Shop on Melrose in West Hollywood. If that’s where she gets her hair styled, it’s an improvement on that cropped ‘do she was sporting last year.

Congratulations to American Beauty actress Mena Suvari, who just got engaged to music producer/concert promoter, Simone Sestito. The two met each other at the Toronto Film Festival last year, while she was promoting her movie, Stuck. A source close to the actress told People Magazine that the two are “taking their time planning the wedding. They are in no rush.” Mena was married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, who is 18 years her senior, in 2000. She filed for divorce in 2005, citing irreconcilable differences. Simone proposed to Mena while the two were on vacation in Jamaica last week. Good times for the couple! Hopefully Mena doesn’t have to wait for third time’s a charm when it comes to husbands.

You gotta’ keep hydrated when you’re walking around shopping and Mena Suvari knows that more than anyone. We found her yesterday doing a little shopping around Beverly Hills, clutching on her Fiji water. Mena’s still sporting the short hair, which I actually like. It’s hard to pull short hair off, people! The American Beauty star has a couple of movies coming out this year, including Day of the Dead, which is set for release next month.
