Murray To Be Charged In Jackson Death

More than six months after the sudden death of superstar Michael Jackson, charges are finally going to be filed against the doctor who treated him in his final days. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney is set to charge Dr. Conrad Murray with involuntary manslaughter, and it could happen as early as next week. The doctor injected Jackson with the powerful sedative Propofol, which is suspected of causing his death. Maybe now we’ll finally find the truth about the demise of this beloved performer.

The doctor who was supposed to be taking care of Michael Jackson in his final days is now facing prosecution for his death. A source revealed to the AP that prosecutors in L.A. have almost concluded their investigation and will go for an indictment against Dr. Conrad Murray on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
A coroner has ruled that Jackson’s death was a homicide caused by the anesthetic Propufol, which Murray had injected into the singer to induce sleep. A conviction for involuntary manslaughter can carry a sentence of two to four years, which is why the doc has already hired attorney-to-the-stars J. Michael Flanagan.

Michael Jackson’s three children were shrouded in mystery during his life, but since the singer’s death in June, his offspring are becoming public figures. ABC News has revealed that Barbara Walters’ “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009” television special will feature a profile of Jackson’s children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7, AKA Blanket.
It has not been announced whether the three will actually be interviewed on camera for the show. I hope not, since that’s the last thing Michael would have wanted. But the Jackson clan is running the show now, and they never miss an opportunity for free publicity.

Michael’s Kids Spend Thanksgiving With Grandpa Joe

Before his untimely death in June, Michael Jackson made sure that his father Joe spent as little time as possible with his three kids. But since the superstar is no longer around to keep the children from their grandfather, he’s been creeping back into their lives.
RadarOnline reports that in defiance of the agreement that allows Prince, Paris and Blanket to live with their grandmother Katherine, the three spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with the Jackson patriarch. Old Joe was cut out of Michael’s will and is fighting for an allowance from the estate. Is he using the kids to try to get the $$$ he wants?

Janet Blames Doc For Michael’s Death

Ever since the sudden death of superstar Michael Jackson in June, those closest to him have been blaming the doctors who treated him in his final days. Now in a shocking interview, his sister Janet has singled out one person she holds responsible for killing Michael.
The AP reports that an interview with Janet will air on ABC News Wednesday in which she states that Dr. Conrad Murray should not be allowed to practice medicine, adding, “He was the one that was administering. I think he is responsible.” Murray has admitted to police that he administered a powerful anesthetic to the star before Jackson died June 25, and the doctor may face prosecution for his death.
Janet is still having problems accepting that her brother is gone. “It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe.”
