Ever since the sudden death of superstar Michael Jackson in June, those closest to him have been blaming the doctors who treated him in his final days. Now in a shocking interview, his sister Janet has singled out one person she holds responsible for killing Michael.

The AP reports that an interview with Janet will air on ABC News Wednesday in which she states that Dr. Conrad Murray should not be allowed to practice medicine, adding, “He was the one that was administering. I think he is responsible.” Murray has admitted to police that he administered a powerful anesthetic to the star before Jackson died June 25, and the doctor may face prosecution for his death.

Janet is still having problems accepting that her brother is gone. “It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe.”

Like his extravagant life, Michael Jackson’s funeral was lavish and expensive. TMZ has unearthed the financial details of his sendoff from documents unsealed by the court.

Michael Jackson’s Forest Lawn funeral costs total $855,730.31, according to documents just unsealed by the court. The costs for the Glendale Police Department and city support totaled $175,086.31, the internment $590,000 and upkeep of the mausoleum $88,500. The private security, lighting, piano and other rentals came to $176,020.31.

Surprisingly, the funeral wardrobe for the Jackson clan was a measly $1,975.50. Isn’t that about what Jermaine spends on a jacket? I would have expected this greedy bunch to shop at Armani,  Prada or Gucci and send the bill to Jacko’s estate.

The hardest-working has-beens in show business are back with—what else?—a reality series. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that the A&E miniseries “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” will debut Dec. 13.

The six-part series features brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon preparing for a concert tour, minus anyone named Jackson that people would actually pay to see. The official press release says the show “chronicles their lives as they cope with Michael’s drug-induced death in June,” which really means “they look for new ways to grab more of Michael’s money.”

A&E had originally planned this as a documentary special called “The Jacksons,” back when they had hopes of roping the still-living Michael into it. Now they’re making chicken salad out of chicken you-know-what, since most of the surviving Jacksons are behind in their child support. Jermaine is behind about 20 years.

Two doctors who treated Michael Jackson are facing legal charges relating to the superstar’s death—and soon.

An L.A. law enforcement source has revealed to FoxNews.com that Dr. Conrad Murray could be arrested for manslaughter as soon as next week. Investigators are still probing the case, and are expected to execute one more search warrant, probably at a Los Angeles pharmacy.

Reportedly, Murray has admitted he gave Jackson an injection of intravenous anesthetic propofol just hours before his death. Propofol was at least a contributing factor in the 50-year-old entertainer’s death.

Also looking at future trouble is Jackson’s dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, who is going to be charged with medical malpractice. Klein has admitted giving the singer the painkiller Demerol. It’s certainly a positive thing that these doctors are being forced to answer for their actions, but as long as there are star-struck physicians and addicted celebs, this won’t be the last story to end this way.

More than two months after his sudden death, Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest.

Jackson family spokesperson Ken Sunshine told Access Hollywood the King of Pop will be buried at a private ceremony on the Holly Terrace of the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn-Glendale on August 29, which would have been the day he turned 51. This location is separate from the Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn where the singer’s body was taken after his death.

Fans of the singer will be disappointed to learn that the Great Mausoleum is private and they will not be able to deliver flowers to Jackson’s final resting place.

This has to be considered good news, but I wonder how true it will be in the long run. The AP reports that Joe Jackson will not interfere with the raising of his late son Michael’s kids.

The elder Jackson statement filed a statement in a Los Angeles court claiming that he now lives in Las Vegas and only occasionally visits the family compound in Encino, CA. Joe Jackson calls estranged wife Katherine, who was granted custody of Michael’s three children, “a wonderful caretaker and guardian.”

This sounds like great PR on old Joe’s part, but I have to wonder how long he’ll stay out of the grandkids’ lives when there’s money involved.

Michael Jackson isn’t even buried yet, but more of his secrets are coming out. Now his dad claims the King of Pop had a secret love child!

RadarOnline has revealed that Joe Jackson told NewsOne/TVOne 25-year-old aspiring rapper Omer Bhatti is Michael’s son. “Yes, I knew he had another son, yes I did. He looks like a Jackson, acts like a Jackson, can dance like a Jackson. This boy is a fantastic dancer.” Hmm, sounds like old Joe has plans for the boy. Is the kid signed to his new label yet?

This story comes a few days after the Star claimed that Pia Bhatti, Omer’s mother, donated the eggs for Michael’s third child, know as Blanket. I hope we’ll be seeing some DNA tests soon, because this is just getting too bizarre, even for Michael Jackson.

Since Michael Jackson was pretty much supporting the majority of his family, it was inevitable that his kin would run out of cash fast without him.

Now mom Katherine Jackson is trying to get allowances for herself and the superstar’s three kids. The AP reports that a judge has refused to immediately grant Mrs. Jackson’s request, but would consider the matter next month. An attorney representing the estate told the court, “We are informed that Mrs. Jackson was also financially dependent upon Michael Jackson and that other than extremely modest social security benefits, Mrs. Jackson has no independent means of support.”

I guess that means old Joe’s not the successful businessman he wants us to think he is. While I doubt anyone would deny Mrs. Jackson or Michael’s children the right to be supported by his estate, I wonder where this leaves his non-working siblings, who’ve spent the last few years lounging around the Jackson family compound while Michael paid the bills. Will Mama J. keep supporting her family of deadbeats after the estate gets settled? Who’ll pay off their numerous ex-wives and kids if the Bank of Michael gets shut down? Will these adults finally have to go out and get real jobs?

Michael Jackson’s flower-draped casket was the centerpiece of his elaborate memorial service at L.A.’s Staples Center—but was the superstar actually inside?

A source blabbed to Page Six, “The coffin was empty. There was no body there at all.” Well, that would explain why we’ve been spared those ghoulish “dead celeb in his box” photos.

Why was Jackson’s corpse elsewhere? Another source surmised, “There were two autopsies done but now there’s a criminal investigation. Why would they release the body in a week if there’s a criminal investigation? And if they charge someone with his death, that person will want his or her own autopsy done.”

It seems like the King of Pop won’t be resting in peace in the near future.

Tito Jackson has become the latest family member to speak out since the death of his brother Michael last month, and he claims that several of them had confronted the superstar about his drug use.

In an interview with the UK Mirror, the 55-year-old Jackson brother recalled how the family banded together to launch a raid on Neverland. “We had to act. It was me, my sisters Janet, Rebbie and La Toya and my brothers, Jackie and Randy. We bust right into the house and he was surprised to see us to say the least. We went into one of his private rooms and had a discussion with him. Some of us were crying. 

“We kept asking him if it was true what we had heard that he was using drugs. He kept denying it. He said we were over-reacting. We also spoke to a doctor and he assured us it was not the situation. He said he was there to make sure Michael was healthy.”

The Jackson family members were skeptical. “We didn’t know what to believe. We didn’t take what Michael said as the truth. We talked about it again and again for hours but we just couldn’t get through to him. After that occasion we tried many times but his team of people just shut us out, they would not let us close. They literally shut us out.”

While he does not totally agree with sister LaToya that their brother was murdered, Tito wants to find out what happened. “Whether his death was an accident or whether it was deliberate, something has gone on and we need to get to the bottom of it.”

Legendary screen star Dame Elizabeth Taylor was one of Michael Jackson’s dearest friends, and she has made it no secret that she was devastated by his death. Now the aging actress’s grief may have made her ill.

NY Post Columnist Cindy Adams revealed today that Taylor has been admitted to an L.A. hospital, and states: “The heart’s gone out of her. As I’ve reported repeatedly, in a wheelchair, nurses in attendance, she was on the way to his London opening. Then he died, and she began screaming.

“Then the Jackson family denied her access to their funeral pews and barred her from the events because she was Michael’s friend, not theirs. She’s suffering weakness, tiredness, exhaustion, emotional draining. She hasn’t stopped crying. She and Michael were devoted to one another.”

This is beyond sad if it’s true. Taylor has suffered many heath problems in her 77 years, but has always bounced back. She stated on her Twitter account a few days ago that she was going into the hospital for scheduled tests, so let’s hope that’s all this visit is about.

The L.A. County Coroner’s office has completed tests on the body of Michael Jackson and will be revealing their results very shortly—possible as early as the end of this week.

The AP quotes Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter as saying the office already has some results from tests determining what substances were in Jackson’s body, and the remaining results are expected late this week or early next week.

The results will no doubt answer some questions, but are likely to raise others. Like why did Jackson have the powerful sedative Diprivan in his home, when it’s not supposed to be used outside hospitals? And what led a man, who seemingly had everything to live for, to self-medicate so drastically—and with such tragic results?

Dr. Arnold Klein, the Beverly Hills dermatologist who treated Michael Jackson numerous times in the weeks before his death, has received an unwanted house call.

According to the AP, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter went to Klein’s office earlier today to serve him with a subpoena seeking additional medical records. The Los Angeles coroner’s office has made numerous requests to the physician for documents relating to his treatment of the deceased superstar.

I’m glad the see this case investigated so throughly, and so quickly after Jackson’s death. It will be very interesting to see how the dermo doc’s records match up with the tox reports coming in a few days. Given the way Jackson looked leaving Klein’s office just a month before his death, the doc wasn’t telling him to take two aspirin and call in the morning.

According to TMZ, a driver for Michael Jackson revealed that the deceased superstar visited the offices of dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein several times a week during his last months. The employee claimed each visit lasted three to four hours and ended with Jackson emerging looking disoriented.

The famously fractious Jackson family managed to present a united front at yesterday’s televised memorial, but behind the scenes, there are disagreements over the burial of pop icon Michael Jackson.

Radar reports family spokesperson Jermaine Jackson wants his brother laid to rest at Neverland, despite laws against burial on the private property. Family matriarch Katherine Jackson vehemently opposes this plan, and a source revealed why. “Michael left Neverland for good, never to return. He felt violated by law enforcement after his molestation trial. He felt this place he had built had been tainted. Katherine continues to be her son’s protector even after his death.”

Meanwhile, Jackson’s body and its $25,000 gold casket are parked temporarily at Forest Lawn, while the members of the Jackson family make up their minds about his final resting place.

There are still no results to the autopsies performed on Michael Jackson, but several doctors who treated the star are coming under fire as more information leaks out about the last months of his life.

The National Enquirer quotes police sources revealing the King of Pop was regularly taking more than 30 different types of drugs “for a variety of real and imagined” ailments. The source dished, “Incredible as it may sound, investigators estimate Jackson ingested a staggering 10,000 pills in the final six months of his life. He was literally living on drugs.”

As much as we’d like to believe this is an exaggeration, there is the problem of that pharmacy bill Jackson ran up for more than $100,000 for prescription drugs in only two years, and his treatment for addiction to prescription pain killers back in the 90s. 

The biggest question to come out of all the recent revelations about Jackson’s drug abuse is —why wasn’t anyone there to help him?

As a long day devoted to the life and legacy of Michael Jackson draws to a close, there are still many unanswered questions about his death and burial.

TMZ has Jackson’s death certificate, but it does not reveal anything we haven’t already heard, since the cause of death is listed as “deferred.” Also still a mystery is the pop legend’s final resting place. 

But today was about remembering a superstar and his music. The questions will have to wait.
