I love movie posters. It’s no secret because I remind you guys every time I post a movie poster. Yesterday, three new movie posters were released, Pixar’s 3D CGI movie simply titled ‘Up,’ the Nicole Kidman-Hugh Jackman epic ‘Australia,’ and the standard Sandra Bullock vehicle ‘The Proposal.’

Pixar has released their poster for ‘UP.’ It will be Pixar’s first 3D movie and it follows a 78 year old man who decides to explore the world with the help of an 8 year old boy. In case you can’t see it, that’s a house tied to those balloons.

Finally our first official look at ‘The Proposal,’ which we’ve been following on set for quite some time now. Nothing special. Actually, quite bland. In ‘The Proposal,’ Sandra Bullock plays a demanding female boss faced with deportation to Canada who agrees to a sham engagement and marriage with her young male assistant. Guess who the assistant is.

And here’s the poster for ‘Australia.’ An epic romantic action adventure, set in Australia of all places, on the  brink of World War II. Nicole Kidman plays an aristocrat who meets up with a local rough neck, together, they help save her home. I’m not sold on this poster. It tries to be epic but the blatant romanticism gives it a Harlequin romance novel feel.

Here are a couple of pics of Ms. Kate Bosworth at the 21 movie premiere last night at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Sin City. Very fitting they hosted the premiere in Vegas, since the movie is about card counting. Kate was all smiles for the cameras and looked much healthier than I’ve seen her in a while. Her dress is definitely interesting – a bit of circus performer chic. Anyway, Kate plays Jill Taylor in the movie, one of the MIT students who learn how to count cards and win millions playing blackjack in Vegas. It’s based on a true story and those are always way more interesting. The movie comes out on March 28, so if you’re big on the gambling thing, or just a fan of Kate, then you should check the movie out. My blog buddy Ronnie did promise y’all a video of Mr. Zac Efron, so here it is. He’s enjoying the new Audi R8 on the set of Seventeen. I would sure as hell enjoy that nice car, too. What a beauty. Zac’s not half bad either. He’s still working his little baboosh off at the Seventeen set and we’re glad he’s back healthy and happy (he had an emergency surgery to take out his appendix a couple of weeks ago). We caught Clive Owen on the New York set of The International over the weekend. From the looks of it, Clive’s stretching those acting abilities from his previous cool-tough guy movies like Shoot Em Up, Sin City and Children of Men. Clive could have walked on to any one of those movie sets and probably not have had any trouble getting into character. But despite that, Clive kicks ass and he would have been a great James Bond.

The International synopsis on IMDB says “An Interpol agent (Owen) attempts to expose a high-profile financial institution’s role in an international arms dealing ring.” So Clive’s on the right side of the law this time? Maybe it will be a stretch after all. Check out more images below.

We caught a great scene between Jim Carrey and Luis Guzmàn being filmed on the Los Angeles set of Yes Man yesterday. I’m not sure if this violates any union safety rules, but my hats off to Luis Guzmàn for standing on that ledge at least 60 feet up. I know he’s attached to the safety wire but screw that! I’d barely be able to handle peeking over that ledge for a couple seconds let alone step out that window and still be able to remember my lines. Either way, at least he’s got Jim Carrey singing an acoustic version of Third Eye Blind’s Jumper to comfort him. Check out the video below from the set to get a real perspective on just how high the two actors are.

Remember all those pictures we got of Angelina Jolie on the set of Clint Eastwood’s movie, The Changeling? If somehow, you foregot, you can check them all out here. The studio has released some official production stills from the movie and well, they’re pretty underwhelming considering we got much better shots on our own! Either way, I’ll never say no to another glance at Angelina Jolie.

Next up, we’ve got a couple stills of Edward Norton from The Incredible Hulk. Yes people, another Hulk movie in case you didn’t know. Not only does Edward Norton star as Dr. Banner, he also wrote the script. Who knew he was so multi-dimensional? Either way, I’m looking forward to a new take on the first Hulk movie, especially after Ang Lee’s take. I appreciated the depth he tried to put into the first one, but c’mon, this is the Hulk! Just let him go ape in the city of New York and I’ll be the first in line.

Looks like Dr. Banner’s hasn’t given up trying to cure himself of his little problem. It’s also worth mentioning that Liv Tyler also stars as Betty Ross and Tim Roth as the baddie The Abomination this time around.

Could this be the first shot of James Tiberius Kirk? Could be. We’re not 100% sure but our inside sources are saying this is indeed Kirk but until we get an official confirmation, we can’t say for sure. I can’t tell you where we shot the photos but we were lucky enough to grab a few more shots of the alleged Kirk AND the first shots of what was described to us as an Orion slave girl.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens spent most of yesterday inside at Zac’s place, obviously to hide from the uncharacteristically blistering Southern California cold. The high reached a bone chilling 65 degrees which is more than enough to keep any young couple inside for the majority of the day! The chivalrous Zac later drove Vanessa home where she hid her face from our cameras for some reason. Wonder what she was hiding from us!

Not content with one goodbye, Zac ran in to have another private goodbye session with his lady. Afterwards, Zac spent about 15 minutes at the gym before heading to the set of ‘Seventeen’, which he’s been filming here in Southern California. Check out the exclusive video and pictures below.

We caught up with Jeremy Piven and his niece Pearl on the set of ‘The Goods: The Don Ready Story’ yesterday on an unusually wet Southern California day. Pearl, as you might recall, became infamous for her role as The Landlord in Will Ferrell’s internet sketch, ‘The Landlord.’ From the looks of the pictures, Jeremy’s been teaching little Pearl the Ari Gold style of management. Just look at the picture above, it looks like Jeremy just said to Pearl, “Sweety, call that lady a bitch and then stick your tongue out at her!” Check out the infamous clip of Pearl and Will Ferrell below.

We spotted a beat up looking Shia LaBeouf and his Eagle Eye co-star Michelle Monaghan on the Los Angeles set of Eagle Eye yesterday. Thankfully, Shia’s only made up to look beat down but it sure does help age him up a bit. He actually looks legal now doesn’t he? So all you mature females who have their secret Shia fantasies can now stop feeling guilty about them now that Shia’s finally starting to look legal! The scene is taking place at an airport with Michelle and Shia boarding a transport bus. Michelle was looking pretty hot herself despite wearing the St. Louis cap! No offense to those in St. Louis, but it’s all about Torre and the Dodgers!

We were there when filming began today on Shia LaBeouf’s latest movie, Eagle Eye, which started production in Los Angeles and we’ve got the pictures and video to prove it! Eagle Eye tells the story of a young slacker and a single mom who become entangled in some larger than life plot to destroy the world, or something like that. The movie is being directed by D.J. Caruso, who Shia worked with once before on the excellent Disturbia, so we should expect great things again from the duo. One of the scenes being filmed involves Shia returning to his parents after some time away home. I must say this, the production crew was by far the nicest crew and set that I’ve ever worked on. They were courteous and not a single security goon tried to intimidate us, so my hat off to them. So having said that, we’ll try not to post any pictures that spoil the plot or give up shooting locations as we continue covering the production.

Robert Zemeckis’ Beowulf earned top ranks this past weekend in the box office, as it crushed down competition for the number one spot. British actor Ray Winstone plays the lead in this action-packed film based on the famous English heroic poem of the same name, but we all know that many theater-goers stood in those long lines to see Ms. Angelina Jolie (pictured above at the movie’s premiere a couple of weeks ago). Whatever reason people had to see the movie, it’s a good sign that epic films still have clout in the box office. We welcome any comments from any of you who have seen the movie. You know we love, love, love your comments!

There was an eagle eyed reader who called this one the minute we posted the Trek photos. We weren’t certain so we held off on posting this but the picture above is indeed Jennifer Morrison and IESB.net has received confirmation from her management that she has indeed been cast in JJ Abrams Star Trek. IESB speculates that Morrison will play Carol Marcus, who apparently is Kirk’s baby’s momma. Now can anyone tell us who these rest of these peeps are below?

Even with four kids at home (or maybe they’re at Toys R Us with Mr. Jolie – kidding), Angelina continued to film her upcoming project, ‘Changeling’ in Pasadena, CA. She’s shown here with the movie’s director and Hollywood legend, Clint Eastwood. The film, which is being released by Universal Pictures, has an insane cast and crew attached to it, namely Brian Grazer, super producer in LaLa-Land, as well as a supporting team to die for (including John Malkovich). Production began yesterday on JJ Abrams Star Trek in a super secret Southern California location. We had to pull some major strings and drop a dime or two to find out where this bad boy was filming. Fortunately, JJ’s got the same M.O. as Cloverfield, which was another b-otch to find. Normally, we wouldn’t bother with these photos as they’re all extras, but according to a Star Trek fanatic friend of mine, all the rabid Star Trek fans will be eager to go to town on these photos. Every extra in Star Trek gear was covering up the goods with a hooded trench coat. Another reason we’re putting these pictures up is because that eagle eyed PA who spotted us posted up would want us to. He sure earned his money today. Director Quentin Tarantino and his girlfriend went for a stroll in Beverly Hills yesterday. Looks like Quentin has not gotten over the dismal performance of his Grind House movie that he co-directed with Robert Rodriguez. QT refuses to put that shirt, which stands for Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino Back to Back, to rest. Let it go QT, let it go.

We caught Angelina Jolie on the Pasadena set of The Changeling. Angie is looking incredible in her 20’s doo and hat. Quite a difference from her walk down the red carpet at last nights Beowulf World Premiere. It looks like even director Clint Eastwood can’t keep his hands off Angelina.

The World Premiere of Beowulf was held in Westwood California last night. Notables that walked down the red carpet were Sir Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Ray Winstone, Robin Wright Penn, Helen Miren, Crispin Glover with Amber Heard and Sebastian Roche. Check out our thumbnail gallery below.
