Naomi To Appear On Ugly Betty

The world’s favorite temper-tantrum-throwing supermodel, Naomi Campbell, will soon be on a TV screen near you. Relax, it’s only a guest spot for one episode on ABC’s Ugly Betty. Yes, the supermodel will be making an appearance in the fashion-loving comedy. Eonline.com is reporting that she’ll be guest starring in the season finale. No word yet on what type of character she’ll be playing, but like previous celeb guests including Victoria Beckham, she might just end up playing herself. I vote for a Wilhelmina-Naomi smack down. I’d tune in for that.

Naomi Campbell really has major anger management issues. TMZ is reporting that Naomi was arrested today at Heathrow Airport for allegedly assaulting a police officer. She was en route to Los Angeles. I guess Naomi threw a hissy fit because she couldn’t find one of her three carry-on bags. Yes, she gets to have three carry-ons. Anyway, they had to get her out of the British Airways flight and in the midst of all the craziness, she assaulted an officer. Other reports are now claiming that she actually spat on a police officer. How rude. Naomi’s been known to throw a tantrum (and cell phones) here and there, so this is actually not surprising. She was arrested in 2006 for throwing a cell phone to her housekeeper, too. She ended up serving community service. Hmm, homegirl needs serious therapy and anger management classes. Or, she just needs a good kick in the be-hind.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell left a Brazilian hospital today, five days after she was rushed for an emergency surgery. There was word that she had a cyst removed, but Naomi’s camp is not confirming this. Obviously, Naomi wants to keep her medical problems to herself. Reports state that Naomi was in Brazil visiting Marcus Elias, a Brazilian financier she started dating not too long ago. Even though she was released today, doctors have also recommended that she stay in Brazil to rest up. Feel better, Naomi!

Breaking News: Supermodel Down!!! Naomi Campbell Hospitalized

The Associated Press recently reported that Naomi Campbell, 37, has just been hospitalized for and “infectious diseases.” She has been taken to Sao Paulo’s Sirio Libanes Hospital were she is being treated by one of Brazil’s top specialist. Apparently the British supermodel, a frequent visitor to Brazil, celebrated Carnival earlier this month in the northeastern city of Salvador.
“The patient and her advisers have determined that the hospital’s medical staff will not issue any formal or informal information on her medical condition,” the hospital said in a statement.
Campbell is being treated by gynecologist Jose Aristodemo Pinotti, and David Uip specialist in infectious diseases.
