Nick Jonas Whiptastic

Nick Jonas test drove a suped up classic Mustang around his neighborhood yesterday. From the looks of it, I think he may be the smartest of all the Jonas Brothers. Sure he’s got everything now; the fame, the adoration and the money. Those all have a shelf life when it comes to the the longevity of boy bands. Every once in a while, you’ll get a Justin Timberlake who breaks through but it’s not often. Nick Jonas seems to know even if you take away the fame and fortune, with a ride like that, he’ll still have the adoration.

Jonas Bros. Take A 50’s Turn

The Jonas Brothers continued to shoot their video/concert tour footage in Los Angeles over the weekend. Ironically, the 50’s themed shoot leads me to believe that the Brothers may have in fact been born 58 years too late considering their values sorta peaked back in the 50’s and have fallen off a little since then.

The Jonas Brothers hit up a Big 5 in Beverly Hills yesterday. Each one of them took an opportunity to show off their purity rings which I happen to think is a cool thing. Speaking as a father, I’d rather listen to the Jonas Brothers in the car on the way to school than most morning radio talk shows. Then you have someone like Courtney Love speaking out against the Brothers. She said to TMZ, “They are completely not rock n’ roll. I can’t stand that s**t!” Of course, this coming from the biggest Yoko Ono of our generation since… well, Yoko Ono! Courtney singlehandedly dealt the biggest blow to Rock and Roll so she should really keep her mouth shut and try not to be the self-appointed spokesperson for Rock music. Leave the boys alone.

Jonas Brothers On Set

Nick Jonas and his fellow Jonas Brothers were on a Downtown Los Angeles set filming scenes for their upcoming Jonas Brothers 3D concert film. Nick, who turned 16 yesterday, received a Golden Retriever as a birthday present from his family. He named the dog Elvis after two of his big influences, Elvis Presley and Elvis Costello. Also on set was younger brother Frankie.
Kim K’s New Crush

Miley Cyrus’ ex-boyfriend and super teen heartthrob, Nick Jonas, took some time off for a little bike ride this weekend. Nick was spotted by our photogs in Los Angeles taking a solo cruise around the neighborhood. Nick and his bros also performed at KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango where they shared the bill with Miley. Word is, Kim Kardashian was at the show, met the boys backstage, and took a liking to Nick. She told some press folks she thought he was cute. Nick’s only 15, so I doubt the romance will go anywhere. Besides, I doubt Nick has any plans to challenge Reggie Bush for Kim’s heart. Anyway, check out more pics of the youngest Jonas brother taking a little ride below.
