Where Their Assistants Are Returning Gifts
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007If you’re one of the millions trying to return that awful purple and green sweater your Aunt Mildren gave you, you’re not alone. Many celebrity assistants are probably out doing the same, except they’re not going to be in the customer service line at Target with you. Here’s a short recap of where some of our favorite celebs shopped this holiday season, and where their assistants might be getting some store credit.
Our first starlet is Carmen Electra, who was seen shopping at Intuition in Beverly Hills. Intuition carries everything from cute French Sole ballet flats to Norma Kamali dresses. I’m sure Carmen in all her adorable yellow jacket glory got tons of great gifts here. I’m going to assume her assistant would not return anything from this store, unless she wanted the cash back. Before Hannah Montana, there was Hilary Duff, and she is now all grown up. Hilary’s become quite the young woman and she has great taste. We found her shopping at Maxfield and Alessi, both in West Hollywood. They have great coats and luxurious goodies at Maxfield, so if she got her assistant anything there, homegirl should be all warm and cozy today, or she’s wearing a nice Cartier watch. Either way, she wins! Good shopping choices, Hil.
Little girls always learn from their mamas and Kathy Hilton is not any different. Our photogs caught up with her and second daughter Nicky shopping in Beverly Hills. They visited different boutiques around Rodeo Drive, but a shopping staple for both mom and daughter is Barneys New York. The posh department store is a regular stop-over for many celebs and we’ve seen the Hiltons there throughout the year. Last but not the least is Jenny McCarthy, who visited every woman’s fantasy shoe store - Christian Louboutin. Jenny’s assistant probably got some nice knee-length boots or fabulous daytime flats. They Were Out Buying Paris’ Gift

Yes that’s right, one of our great photographers caught Nicky and Kathy Hilton shopping at Beverly Hills last night, buying tons of goodies for Paris’ Christmas gift basket. Okay, we’re not really sure they were doing that, but what else could they be doing? Paris is nowhere to be seen. Are you telling me that Nicky and Kathy have these mother and daughter moments without the other daughter? For shame! Okay, that was a tad dramatic, but so what. Nicky and Kathy did look like they were enjoying themselves walking around Beverly Hills and shopping the rainy night away. I like looking at these familial moments - they show the true meaning of the holidays. It’s all about family time on Rodeo Drive. Good times! And Nicky dear you have a beautiful smile, so you should really do it more often for the cameras. As for you readers, we have more photos of Jr. and Sr. Hilton for you to examine. Joy to the world.
Nicky Needed Some Barney Time

Everyone was out this weekend spending their hard earned money on the newest toys, but Nicky Hilton had other purchases in mind. Well, we did catch her at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, which does not sell toys per se, but every goodie a woman would love to have. Maybe she was out and about trying to shop for her older sis. Do you think Paris and Nicky tell each other what they want for Christmas? I mean, what would you get someone who has everything? Maybe Nicky got her a gift certificate from Barneys. Or maybe not. And I’m lovin’ the jacket, Ms. Nicky, as well as that lovely Hermes bag. Nicky has a more subdued style than Paris and that’s probably true for most second children, which she is. C’mon, she had to grow up being Jan Brady to Paris’ Marcia…of course she’s really chill. Well, we’re just guessing here, but we do have more pictures of the other Hilton sister, so just eat those up instead of our psycho-babble.
Paris Loves Chinese Food

We have a video of Paris Hilton before she met up with Nicky for their day of shopping. Paris has been absent from a lot of the rags lately and a lot of the photographers missed her, as you will hear on the video. She spent some time in China last week for the MTV Awards in Shanghai. Paris is Paris and she had quite the experience in China, especially her deep understanding of its cuisine. The Hiltons And Their Hobby

There’s nothing better than spending a whole day with your sister, shopping like it’s an Olympic sport and it’s your last chance to make the 2008 team. Yes, that could be possible. Paris and lil sis Nicky sure made it look super easy yesterday as they made their way through a few stores within a swoop of a nice car. I swear it will make sense the more you read. So, the ladies grabbed some fabulous foot gear at Christian Louboutin in Beverly Hills, then headed to Room Service and Milk in West Hollywood. They capped the shopping excursion by having dinner at Toast. Ah, what a day. We have pics galore of the sisters sharing their favorite hobby just for you!
