Friends and family of Nicole Richie are breathing easier today because she’s back at home following a health scare. The new mom checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier in the week to be treated for pneumonia.

But she’s feeling better now, as her baby daddy Joel Madden posted today: “So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week. But don’t worry all is well and we are home with no problems. I was supposed to go into the studio a finish the last few vocals for the record, but that had to wait. Family first.” Good news, Nicole—take care of yourself. Those babies need their mom!

New mom Nicole Richie is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for pneumonia. The star’s rep told US Weekly, “Nicole has checked into Ceders Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well.” Hope this isn’t serious, since there are a lot of bugs going around right now. Nicole may be a bit run down after giving birth to two babies in only 20 months. Take care of yourself, Nicole, and get well soon!

They’re one of Hollywood’s happiest couples, but don’t call them Mr. and Mrs. yet! Despite a cover story from The Star, new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have not tied the knot.

Madden posted on the Good Charlotte site, “I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.” OK, we believe you! But I don’t think the parents of adorable little Harlow and Sparrow will be unwed forever.

A Paparazzo a was arrested by Beverly Hills Police for driving without a license after crashing into the rear of Nicole Richie’s Land Rover on Wilshire Blvd. Monday afternoon. He was taken into custody and his vehicle was impounded.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden left the scene of a Beverly Hills auto accident in which the new mom was slightly injured.

Lt. Tony Lee of the Beverly Hills Police told People, “Ms. Richie was driving with a passenger around 2 p.m. when she was struck by two photographers driving in one vehicle behind her. She complained of pain … Her car sustained moderate damage. No paramedics were called to the scene. She told officers she was going to seek her own medical treatment, so it’s unknown if she’s headed to a hospital or not.” Richie was later taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden became parents for the second time today. Little Harlow Madden has a  brand new baby brother! This message was posted on Nicole’s site:

Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing

Parents-to-be (again) Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have been looking for the prefect home to raise their growing family, and found it in the Hollywood Hills.

The pair, who welcomed daughter Harlow last year and are expecting another little one this summer, have sprung about two mil on a four bedroom, five-and-a-half bath home in Laurel Canyon. The home is described as having “Soaring ceilings w/ huge sky dome adds dramatic sunlight. Full guesthouse becomes screening theatre. Marvelous eat-in kitchen. Lagoon pool features Key West cantina.”

Sounds like a fun crib for a young family! Nicole certainly has the taste to decorate her new home in style.

Buff daddy Joel Madden showed off his guns ‘n’ tats leaving baby classes in Hollywood, CA.

The obviously pregnant Nicole Richie took in a Pilates class in Toluca Lake, then grabbed a quick bite at Sharky’s Mexican Grill, before picking up daughter Harlow on their way to baby classes in Hollywood, CA. Love little Harlow’s headband!

Being pregnant can cause major mood swings, but mommy-to-be Nicole Richie wasn’t the only one affected by last night’s ep of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Nicole posted on her Twitter last night, “Just watched Grey’s & cried my f-ing eyes out. Now gonna catch up on Gossip Girl.” This week’s show was genuine four-hanky tear jerker that saw Meredith giving up her wedding gown—and her whole wedding—to the cancer-stricken Izzie. Following her shaky walk down the aisle, Izzie (played by Katherine Heigl), returned to her hospital bed to find her hair falling out. New husband Alex shaved her head, and told her she was beautiful. (sob!)

So that sets us all up for next week’s two-hour season finale, when we (maybe) find out whether Izzie dies, or has a miraculous recovery. Considering how we’ve been hearing for months that Heigl is leaving the series, I think Nicole—and the rest of us— better be ready with a bog box of Kleenex.

No, not the TV show. The pregnant Nicole Richie looked as radiant as a spring day in her beautiful flowing dress, as she walked to an office building on Melrose Place in West Hollywood, CA.

Mommy-in-waiting Nicole Richie took her adorable daughter Harlow Madden out to lunch at Cafe Med on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA. Harlow looked precious in her little red shoes, and she’s already smiling for the camera!

I’ve heard about rockers getting harassed by airline security over their piercings, but this has to be the first time one’s gotten in trouble over his skin art.

Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden was ordered to cover his heavily-tatted arms before being allowed to board a British Airways flight from London to Lisbon this weekend. According to E! News, Madden Twittered, “Was just told by a british air person I can’t get on the plane till I cover my tatts. I really actually am in shock he won’t let me on the plane till I put long sleeves on and other BA rep is disagreeing.”

Nicole Richie’s baby-daddy was finally allowed on the plane after putting on a long-sleeved shirt. “yes i covered up to board the BA flight. I didn’t want to miss it. And honestly i was embarrrassed all the people were staring and laughing! its not in the rules that i can find.my tatts arent offensive. looking into it. i havent felt this small since the first time i asked nic out.”

So what is BA’s official policy on tatts? An airline rep told E! News, “British Airways has no policy against tattoos at all. The only dress policy is that people dress appropriately. There’s absolutely no prohibition of tattoos.”

So why the discrimination? I’d rather have someone with a lot of body ink sitting next to me than one with nasty perfume or B.O.

It’s funny to remember that just a few years ago, Nicole Richie was a frivolous party girl, hanging out in clubs and driving drunk. “This has been a dream of mine for so long,” Richie said, and shared a style tip. “I layer my jewelry.”  But she has to leave off the jewels when she’s with baby daughter Harlow because, “Everything just goes in her mouth.”

Nicole isn’t limiting her ideas to just jewelry. “I’m focusing on my brand right now. There will be a maternity line, a clothing line, shoes, belts, everything!”

After some tough times, things seem to be falling into place for the onetime wild child. Richie told People, “I feel great, I’m working a lot, I have great friends, and a great family. All of my dreams are coming true.”

Newly-pregnant Nicole Richie was spotted at an office building in Santa Monica, CA, yesterday. Her monochromatic outfit works fabulously with her long blonde hair. Her big, black status bag is a major “must” this year and her fringed scarf is also a great accessory.

While daddy Joel Madden headed out to get a bit of free time, adorable Harlow Madden enjoyed a play date with Ruby Sweetheart Maguire. Ruby’s mom Jennifer Meyer and dad Toby Maguire are expecting a little brother or sister for her very soon. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have just announced that they’re expecting an addition, too.
