A Paparazzo a was arrested by Beverly Hills Police for driving without a license after crashing into the rear of Nicole Richie’s Land Rover on Wilshire Blvd. Monday afternoon. He was taken into custody and his vehicle was impounded.

The Britney Spears legal circus just keeps rolling on. Now a two-year-old incident has come back to haunt her.

The AP reports a paparazzi photographer who has worked for TMZ filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles today. Ricardo Mendoza alleges the singer committed assault and battery when she ran over his foot in a Beverly Hills parking garage in October 2007. A video of the incident can be viewed here. 

Britney was understandably upset at the time, because she had just found out she lost custody of her two sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline, so she probably should have let someone else drive.

But isn’t this just the sort of thing Big Daddy Spears and his mighty Conservatorship are paid to take care of? Why haven’t they already thrown some of Brit’s money at this guy to make it all go away? Does Britney really need to have the mistakes she made during her darkest days dragged out again?

Some celebs try to get away with not feeding the meter when they park, but not Christina Ricci. When the petite actress stopped in West Hollywood to run some errands, she put coins in the meter, then struggled to get a large box out of her car. A pap put down his camera to rush to her aid, because the package was almost as big as Christina!

“Entourage” star Adrian Grenier is just as happy behind the camera as in front of it. Now he’s planning a follow-up for his hybrid docu/scripted “Teenage Paparazzi.”

The Hollywood Reporter talked to Grenier about his new project “Spin,” about 21st century media and its impact on society. The actor/filmmaker stated, “It’s an important story to tell.”

“Spin” is being pitched to several networks as a feature-length documentary or a TV movie/pilot for a 13-episode miniseries.

While on the Los Angeles set of ‘Sympathy for Delicious’, it appears that Jonzo found the spirit of James Brown. And oh yeah, he managed to shoot heart throb Orlando Bloom all cleaned up from yesterday.

On his way to drop off  his darling little Violet at her school, Ben Affleck took a minute to stop and tell a rookie paparazzo not to follow too closely and give him some space in Brentwood, CA. 

So we’re all off to Palm Springs this Thursday for a screening of the JFX Documentary ‘Giving It Up.’ To help celebrate, we have a little behind the scenes of the video shoot we had out on the 4th Street bridge in Downtown Los Angeles, despite Uli’s repeated claims we were on the 6th Street bridge. Anyway, we’re all piling in a van for the drive down so by the time we get back there should be some interesting stories!

So I spent my New Years Eve day sifting through a bunch of old Pap 101 videos, trying to put together a best of 2008 collage, but sadly, I’ve run out of time. I’ll get back to it in a day or so. I found a bunch of never before seen footage of Uli taking pictures in his underwear, Jonzen making out with his camera, Uli in the bathroom of a Home Town Buffet and a ton of other stuff. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry but mostly you’ll do more crying than laughing after seeing the aforementioned shots of Uli. Either way, here’s a Pap 101 from a week or so ago that I never got to. In case you don’t know who Yah Ya is, he’s a famous autograph/photo op guy here in town. He’s been on many late night television shows but he’s just an over all nice guy. So without further adieu, meet Yah ya.

Two weeks ago, a group of Paps got together at the Hollywood Sports Park in Belleflower California for some friendly paintball action! Most peple don”t realize how extremely stressful this job can be and sometimes the only way to relieve that stress is with other paps who understand. So often times we get together with friends and rivals to blow off some steam and re-charge the ol’ lumidyne’s. Uli was there and as usual, he had lots to say to the camera and also managed to get a couple paps to comment on Ashley Tisdale’s allegations against the phantom paparazzi who broke into her home.

In case you missed Uli on FoxNews over the weekend, we’ve found the video for you. Although Uli is only on camera for a brief moment, it’s still cool to see our boy on National TV. Unfortunately, after Uli’s brief appearance, there’s not much substance. The Hollywood.tv guy is pretty boring and the WENN guys only been papping about 6 months so he doesn’t really know what the hell he’s talking about. A million bucks for a picture of Britney’s kid? Don’t believe the hype kids and stay in school. Self-promote much?

Could this be the first shot of James Tiberius Kirk? Could be. We’re not 100% sure but our inside sources are saying this is indeed Kirk but until we get an official confirmation, we can’t say for sure. I can’t tell you where we shot the photos but we were lucky enough to grab a few more shots of the alleged Kirk AND the first shots of what was described to us as an Orion slave girl.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens spent most of yesterday inside at Zac’s place, obviously to hide from the uncharacteristically blistering Southern California cold. The high reached a bone chilling 65 degrees which is more than enough to keep any young couple inside for the majority of the day! The chivalrous Zac later drove Vanessa home where she hid her face from our cameras for some reason. Wonder what she was hiding from us!

Not content with one goodbye, Zac ran in to have another private goodbye session with his lady. Afterwards, Zac spent about 15 minutes at the gym before heading to the set of ‘Seventeen’, which he’s been filming here in Southern California. Check out the exclusive video and pictures below.

Our lovely LiLo continued her community service at the Red Cross in Pomona, a suburb just outside Los Angeles. She was busy doing that fabulous photo shoot for the German mag yesterday, so this was definitely a different type of day. Doing community service for an arrest sucks big time, but the timing couldn’t be better. I’d like to think Lindsay’s getting something out of her time at the Red Cross, especially during the holidays. Plus it’s good that she’s been super busy, so she doesn’t have time to think about her recent breakup with Riley Giles. We caught Zac Efron on the set of his new movie Seventeen, which is being shot here in sunny Southern California. This is Zac’s second post-High School Musical movie and it’s good to see that he’s taking it so seriously dressed in short sleeves, shorts and Nike’s. OK I’m kidding! He’s dressed like that because the scene being filmed is actually a backyard basketball scene. So he is actually in costume! Zac must have skipped breakfast or acting must be pretty hard work because Zac’s not messing around with the craft services. Check out those guns he’s sporting! I’m not sure if Zac’s going to be singing in ‘Seventeen’ but he sure ain’t messing around when it comes to his image.

Poor Hayden’s going to be known as the cheerleader hero her whole life, but at least the popularity’s getting her her own line of bags. And these are not cheap accesories either, mind you. None other than Dooney & Bourke is putting out a line of Hayden’s bags just in time for December holiday shopping. We caught up with her at the South Coast Plaza yesterday on her way to the D&B store to introduce her new line. Tonight’s the season finale of Heroes and last week’s preview mentioned two main characters not making it. Is Hayden one of them? My prediction already calls for her coming back next season, but it’s still going to be an exciting episode to watch! And really, with the writer’s strike, who’s really going to be back on TV next year? We have more pictures of Hayden and her cute self to make you feel better.

Pink and her main man Carey Hart had a late breakfast at Jinky’s in the Valley this past weekend and on there way out, they gave us a little hint as to their plans for the upcoming Holidays. Check out the video to check out the devilish grin Pink has on her face to get the whole effect. I think that this puts to rest the rumored troubles these two were having. Britney turns 26 today but she got her birthday festivities started last night with a little get together with her old crotch flashing comrade Paris Hilton. Paris has been out of the spotlight with her recent trip to China so she felt compelled to sneak into Britney’s background and with some attention being put on him lately, Sam decided to sneak in some frames with Brit’s other BFF, Alli. Brit started her night out at the Four Seasons before heading to a Scandinavian style house party in Beverly Hills. I’m not sure what a Scandinavian style house party is but I imagine it includes lots of hot Blondes and Lutefisk.

Julia Roberts spoke to Access Hollywood to try and justify her behavior on a recent run-in with photographers using words like “grown man, crawling, pedophile, police and jail.” Roberts, no doubt feeling empowered by her pal George Clooney’s recent lashing out at overly aggressive photographers, chased down photographers in her SUV by driving on the wrong side of the road in a school area. Roberts went on to say, “I don’t think the magazines, the newspapers should show celebrities’ children.” Conveniently, she did not mention television despite the fact that it’s show like Access Hollywood who buy the same images of celebrity children that we take. Also, we must mention that Roberts recently pimped out her youngest kid to help promote an upcoming movie by showing her youngest child Henry on national television! The above images of Julia and Danny are from 2001 and even 6 years later, we’re still not sure what Julia’s rolling in that cigarette but we felt compelled to break into the archive. Look at the size of that thing! Maybe Julia was doing research for a movie that didn’t pan out.
