Bronx Mowgli Wentz turns one today, and proud parents Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz couldn’t be more thrilled! Yesterday, mom Ashlee told US Weekly, “BX’s 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life.”

Auntie Jessica Twittered this morning, “Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth. Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can’t believe it has been a year already.” Dad Pete added, “Happy birthday bx. you dont have twitter and cant read this. Thanks to all my friends that recorded lullabies. cant believe its been a year.” Have a great day, little guy! Wonder if any other celeb tots will help him celebrate?

That’s a big truck for such a little guy! Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson Wentz stopped by a CVS store to buy a toy construction truck for son Bronx in Sherman Oaks, CA. Ashlee’s new dark locks almost match her hubby’s.

It’s no surprise that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz isn’t happy about being booted off “Melrose Place,” but the singer/actress has other problems to worry about. The National Enquirer claims Ashlee is on the verge of a nervous breakdown!

On the axing from “Melrose,” a source told the Enquirer, “Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed. She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her.” But that’s not all. The source added, “She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good…She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she’s worried that she’s failing.”

In addition to her career woes, Ashlee and rocker husband Pete Wentz are having marriage problems. Pete was out partying when Ashlee got the bad news about “Melrose,” and has been less than supportive of her career. Maybe it’s time for Ashlee to take some time off and just be a full-time mom to little Bronx.

Proud parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz took their adorable baby Bronx to Disneyland Thursday. I hope the park wasn’t too scary for little Bronx! Those ghosts in the Haunted Mansion are pretty creepy.

While mom Ashlee was in NYC doing press for her new series “Melrose Place,” Pete Wentz and baby son Bronx enjoyed themselves under a shady tree at a park in North Hollywood, CA. Pete seems like such a cool dad that I’m almost tempted to buy his music. Almost, but not quite.

Pete Wentz is doing full-time daddy duty this week, while wife Ashlee Simpson is in NYC. The rocker took his adorable look-a-like baby Bronx to The Playroom in Studio City, CA. These two are so cute together! Bronx loves his dad!

Rocket Pete Wentz wasn’t afraid to spice up his regulation black threads with a bit of color as he headed for a studio in North Hollywood. Did son Bronx pick out those wild red shades? 

Pete Wentz wants to put a stop to those rumors that his marriage to Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is on the rocks.

At this weekend’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, the rocker told HollyScoop, “I laugh out loud at them. I laugh at all of that stuff. It’s like if someone wrote on the internet that John McCain was our president right now, it’s just not true.”

So why was Pete solo at the awards? Why not replay that PDA the pair staged at MTV Australia Awards a couple of nights earlier?

Is there trouble in paradise for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and rocker hubby Pete? Page Six quotes an insider as saying, “Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working.”

The couple are currently together in Australia while baby Bronx stays back in the U.S. Ashlee’s rep says, “This is not true. Everything is fine in their world.”

Yeah, we’ve heard that one before and publicists lie like rugs, especially where their clients’ private lives are concerned. But when there’s a tiny baby involved, you have to hope the rumors are false.

Pete Wentz is the latest member of Jessica Simpson’s family to stand up for the star, who’s been the subject of derision over her recent weight gain. US reports that bro-in-law spoke out from the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash in Tampa, FL.

“I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general, and I think it’s a bummer. t’s bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows, and that’s a bummer. Real beauty is on the inside, man.”

When he’s not writing songs or coming up with funny baby names, rocker Pete Wentz is quite the activist. He’s proud of his involvement in the campaign to elect President Obama and gives his thoughts on the Prez in his blog on The Huffington Post titled “No Longer the Underdog.” 

Pete says of Obama, “He’s an underdog, which is something I can relate to.” He also states, “Underdogs are the ones who are hungry, who will transcend convention and will break barriers. Just when it’s at its worst… it gets better. As long as he just keeps up the pace he has so far, I have a feeling we will keep rooting for him.”

Sounds good to me. It’s nice to see an Emo guy talking about something positive for a change.

On the tube, that is. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz will stop changing diapers long enough to make an appearance on “CSI: New York.” 

E! News reports the couple will play a pair of Bonnie and Clyde-like crooks on the episode airing March 18. I guess we don’t have to hope they get caught since those crime dramas seem to always nab the bad guys.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz is going to need a good sense of humor with a name like that and mom Ashlee Simpson-Wentz told US that he’s already giggling. While hosting a NYE bash at Pure nightclub in Vegas she stated, “He laughed for the first time. That was pretty exciting.”  

The new mom also revealed she’s getting back into shape. “I just started exercising again. It’s fun. I do it at my house.”

Baby Bronx probably laughed because he saw daddy Pete Wentz’ makeup and hairdo at the NYE party.

Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz have a lot to celebrate this New Year’s—their marriage in May, the new album by Fall Out Boy and their brand-new baby boy Bronx. The couple will be bringing in 2009 hosting a party at the club Pure inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. We hear the $200 tickets aren’t selling that well but this bash is bound to outdraw the one by maybe-weds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt at Treasure Island’s Christian Audigier the Nightclub.
