Pete Sweating It Out

He wasn’t on his way to the gym, but Pete Wentz did opt to sport some sweats on his way to the recording studio in Los Angeles yesterday. Hey, you gotta’ be comfortable when you’re letting your genius come out in song. What’s new in Pete’s world? Well, according to news reports, Pete and Ash are expecting a girl! Reports indicated before that the couple might be having a boy when witnesses claimed they saw Pete and Ash buying everything blue at a baby store, but I guess that witness was mistaken. Ashley and Pete have yet to confirm the baby girl news, of course, but they’ll probably be doing that on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show sometime soon. After all, these two love do love a show.

Jenny McCarthy and honey Jim Carrey took a nice walk on the beach in Malibu. So romantic, aren’t they? And Jenny’s looking hot in that bathing suit…
…And so is Jim. Gotta’ love a boyfriend you can share clothes, er, bikinis with. Okay, these two just moved up in my list of fave celeb couples.
Lance Armstrong took an early morning bike ride along PCH with a couple of his buddies.
Later that day, Lance took his son to a medical building in Beverly Hills. I was told that girlfriend Kate Hudson (not pictured) dropped the duo off and picked them up. Yeah, they’re definitely in couple-dom now.
Pete Wentz and his missus Ashlee went to a friend’s BBQ in the Hollywood Hills to celebrate the fourth. They even took their adorable pup with them. Hope they gave that dog a bone or something to chew on.
Here’s Pete looking happy and well after the shindig. He must have had some yummy ’slaw and yummy BBQ’d ribs. Wait, is Pete a vegetarian? Somehow, I just picture him being a vegetarian.
Doc’s Appointment

I love how Pete Wentz is carrying a Fendi weekend bag to the doctor’s office yesterday. Our photogs spotted the couple leaving The Medical Plaza in Beverly Hills. Ashlee’s looking super happy and it looks like she’s enjoying pregnancy. After the med office, Ash and Pete stopped by a nearby liquor store because Ashlee was craving a drumstick ice cream. Well, it was hot yesterday. It’s being reported that Ash is going to have herself a little boy, after a witness spied the couple buying a bunch of blue baby things at Petit Tresor. Ashlee had to cancel her summer tour because of the pregnancy, so she’s going to be taking it easy through the summer. That also means more pics of her in the tabloids because she’ll be out and about being photographed in the next couple of months. I guess that’s good news for Ashlee Simpson fans. Our photogs spotted Ashlee Simpson sporting her now very visible baby bump yesterday in Beverly Hills. Doesn’t she look like she could be in that movie, The Village? Ah, that was a great movie. Anyway, the soon-to-be mommy glowed (literally) in her long orange (peach? melon?) dress and sandals. Very hippie-ish, indeed. Word on blog-osphere is that Ms. Ashlee is having a little boy. Ash and Pete were (reportedly) recently at Petit Tresor, the celeb world’s favorite baby store. The couple were witnessed ONLY buying blue baby items. Yeah, you would think that meant they’re having a baby boy, but you never know. The daddy-to-be does wear eyeliner, so I wouldn’t put it past them to dress a baby girl in blue. Just thinking out loud. Or maybe they ARE having a baby boy. Who knows! We definitely won’t get the deets until the baby shower is covered by one of the gossip rags in the next few months, so until then, we’re all just speculating. Fun. Times.
Crack Kills

This is definitely a side of Pete I didn’t want to see. Our photogs caught up with the Fall Out Boy falling out of his pants this weekend, while shopping in West Hollywood. Ashlee’s hubby stopped by Marc Jacobs and Maxfield, hopefully to get some better fitting pants. Pete recently opened a new bar in his hometown of Chicago called Angels & Kings; a sister club to his venue in Manhattan with the same name. Who knew Pete was such an industrious little fella’. He knows that Fall Out Boy and all these MTV shows will not last forever (just like Ashlee’s music career) and so he’s partaking in other business ventures. Hey, if you have a new wife and an upcoming baby to feed, you do what you need to do. Sans the arse-crack show, you’re a good man, Pete Wentz. A very good man. No wonder John Mayer loves you.
