Is Ashlee Having A Boy?

Our photogs spotted Ashlee Simpson sporting her now very visible baby bump yesterday in Beverly Hills. Doesn’t she look like she could be in that movie, The Village? Ah, that was a great movie. Anyway, the soon-to-be mommy glowed (literally) in her long orange (peach? melon?) dress and sandals. Very hippie-ish, indeed. Word on blog-osphere is that Ms. Ashlee is having a little boy. Ash and Pete were (reportedly) recently at Petit Tresor, the celeb world’s favorite baby store. The couple were witnessed ONLY buying blue baby items. Yeah, you would think that meant they’re having a baby boy, but you never know. The daddy-to-be does wear eyeliner, so I wouldn’t put it past them to dress a baby girl in blue. Just thinking out loud. Or maybe they ARE having a baby boy. Who knows! We definitely won’t get the deets until the baby shower is covered by one of the gossip rags in the next few months, so until then, we’re all just speculating. Fun. Times.

This is definitely a side of Pete I didn’t want to see. Our photogs caught up with the Fall Out Boy falling out of his pants this weekend, while shopping in West Hollywood. Ashlee’s hubby stopped by Marc Jacobs and Maxfield, hopefully to get some better fitting pants. Pete recently opened a new bar in his hometown of Chicago called Angels & Kings; a sister club to his venue in Manhattan with the same name. Who knew Pete was such an industrious little fella’. He knows that Fall Out Boy and all these MTV shows will not last forever (just like Ashlee’s music career) and so he’s partaking in other business ventures. Hey, if you have a new wife and an upcoming baby to feed, you do what you need to do. Sans the arse-crack show, you’re a good man, Pete Wentz. A very good man. No wonder John Mayer loves you.
Pap 101: Pete’s Petroleum Predicament Part II
Saturday, June 14th, 2008OK, so yesterday we brought you Part I of Pete’s Petroleum Predicament and now we’re back with Part II! I should have prefaced Part I’s video with the fact that the nice pap in the video is JFX’s good friend Jeff, who we all lovingly refer to as ‘Morrissey’ for some reason, I’m not quite sure why. Anyway, Jeff was nice enough to put down his camera and pick up some gas for Pete and his father and I thought he deserved an honorable mention for his chivalry. He even turned down the cash that Pete was offering up as thanks for his good deed. What a guy huh?

In this week’s episode, Uli, Jonzen and Gallo spend some time with Pete Wentz, who runs out of gas with his dad. I have to warn you, if you weren’t a fan of Pete Wentz before, this video just might change your mind about him because it did for me. I have to admit, I think he’s a cool guy. A few months ago, Pete Wentz was in New York City not having much luck hailing a cab. Some paps taking his pics helped him get a cab and Pete offered them some dough for the assistance. They said no graciously and Pete went on his way. No one said Pete wasn’t a nice dude, but he seems to have trouble when it comes to transportation. Here are some photos of Pete getting more photog help a couple of days ago when he ran out of gas. Pete was driving in the Valley with his dad when he realized he was empty, but thank goodness some paps just happened to be there (wink. wink.) to lend him a helping hand. One of the photogs actually bought him some gas and when offered some form of payment by Pete, turned him down. How’s that for being a friendly neighbor? And once he had a little bit of gas in his big black Mercedes, Pete went to a nearby gas station to fill up. At least I hope he filled up.
