Reese Witherspoon appears on the cover of the new Elle magazine and opens up about her painful divorce from longtime love Ryan Phillipe.
“Very humiliating and very isolating…But, by the way, if it’s not painful, maybe it wasn’t the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions. When people get in your face and say, ‘This will pass,’ you think, Are they crazy? I’m never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing’s ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I’m like, nothings ever gonna make sense again.”
You, go girl! It totally sucks to support some guy for years and then get dumped after you have two kids. But at least Reese has Jake Gyllenhaal to console her these days.

Reese Calls Vince “Funniest Man”

Reese Witherspoon flatly denies rumors of problems between her and co-star Vince Vaughn on the set of their new film “Four Christmases,” which comes out tomorrow. She calls Vaughn the “funniest man she has worked with.” Witherspoon told “Entertainment Tonight”:
“We got along great, we were very good friends and we were very much partners on this movie. Vince is the funniest person I’ve ever worked with. It was a challenge for me to stay there and keep up with him. But I feel really a better actor for that experience.”
Let’s hope this movie is a riot, because we all need some laughs this year.
