Will these two ever make up their minds? The Penns give new meaning to the term “of-and-off.”
People reports Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are back together, one more time. Sean Penn filed a request today to withdraw his legal separation case. The pair had previously filed for divorce in December 2007, but changed their minds four months later.
Did Sean decide to go back to wifey after Natalie Portman told him she wasn’t that into him? I’m sure we haven’t heard the last from this couple, who aren’t likely to live happily ever after.

Penns Split – Again

Now we know why thanking his wife wasn’t high on Sean Penn’s list or priorities when he made that Oscar speech a couple of months ago.
The AP reports the actor has filed a petition to separate from wife Robin Wright Penn, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has previously filed for divorce in 2007, but later reconciled. Married 13 years, the Penns have two children, 18-year-old daughter, Dylan Francis, and 15-year-old son, Hopper Jack.
Does this mean it’s Sean who wants out? Or has Robin finally gotten fed up with his temper and the rumors of his womanizing? I have a feeling this won’t be an smicable divorce—especially if there’s another woman involved.

Divorce Dismissed For The Penns?

The TV show Extra is reporting that Sean and Robin Wright Penn have called off their divorce. The couple filed divorce papers in December after 11 years of marriage, but it sounds like they’re now working things out. The couple attended a Pearl Jam concert in San Francisco last night and it was reported that Sean dedicated a song to Robin for her birthday. They filed a dismissal for the divorce and was approved by the court yesterday. Sean was seen with a couple of ladies during their time off, so I’m sure the had a little chat about that. I had a feeling these two would get back together. Thank goodness a couple in Hollywood is re-thinking divorce and is actually going to try to work it out.

Our New York photogs were busy yesterday looking for celebs and found Robin Wright Penn and Chris Cooper on the set of New York, I Love You. This is probably the best way to get your mind off a break-up – work, work, work – so it’s good that Robin is out and about filming. Robin and Sean Penn just announced their plans to divorce about a month ago, after 11 years of marriage. They have two children together. I really thought these two were going to last. Robin looked warm and snug in her puffy jacket, which looks like a sleeping bag, but whatever works! Chris Cooper probably looks familiar to you because he was the creepy dad in American Beauty. Okay, he’s been in other movies, but that’s the role I most remember him by. He is an amazing actor! New York, I Love You looks like it’s going to be a well-cast little movie, so I can’t wait until its release.

The Christmas cheer just keeps on coming. After 11 years of marriage, Sean Penn and his wife Robin Wright Penn are divorcing. The couple have two kids together and have starred together in several films. What a strange way to end the year. Divorce papers and engagement rings are being exchanged instead of Christmas cheer. Brendan Fraser and his wife announcing their divorce earlier today and Fergie and Josh as well as Jessica and Cash announcing their engagements. I’m glad there’s only 3 more days of the year left, I don’t think I can handle any more divorce news this year.
