Susan Enjoys Some Alone Time
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008
What’s up with everyone wanting to spend all this alone time? Winter is the time when you’re supposed to be huggin’ on someone. Anyway, our NY paps caught up with Susan Sarandon last night as she arrived at the Waverly Inn. It looked like she went solo last night, opting to have dinner by herself. But who knows - maybe she met up with a friend inside. I don’t know. I am wondering why we haven’t seen her with hubby Tim Robbins lately. Maybe he’s volunteering for someone’s presidential campaign or something equally important. The couple has always been vocal about their very liberal politics. And with the elections getting closer, I know politicians are busily courting Hollywood big names for their support. At any rate, alone time is definitely a good time, if you ask me. And Susan’s smiling big, so that’s what matters. I have more pics of her below. Ejoy.
National Board of Review Gala In NYC
Wednesday, January 16th, 2008
Tons of celebrities attended the National Board of Review (NBR) of Motion Pictures Awards Gala last night at Cipriani 42nd Street Restaurant in New York City. Among them were George Clooney and his girlfriend, Sarah Larsen. George won Best Director for his movie, Michael Clayton. Other celebs that attended include Julianne Moore, Tommy Lee Jones, Kate Winslet, Susan Sarandon and Glenn Close.

Here’s Kate Winslet looking ravising in black. Kate was quiet in 2007 on the movie front, but she has three movies on the works for this year, including Revolutionary Road, which reunites her with Titanic costar, Leonardo DiCaprio.

And here’s Susan Sarandon, still looking pretty hot these days. The Oscar winner wasn’t accompanied by longtime partner, Tim Robbins. Check out her nifty little dress. It’s pretty thin for a cold NYC night and Ms. Sarandon doesn’t seem to have a need for support, if you know what I mean. Let the ladies roam, I always say. I have tons more pics of the other celebs in attendance from the NBR Gala. Since there are no Golden Globes red carpet to salivate over, you can check these out instead.
