DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, was laid to rest Wednesday at Hillside Mortuary in Culver City. A memorial for Goldstein will take place Thursday evening at the historic Hollywood Palladium, where the DJ played many events. Close friend Travis Barker shoveled dirt on the grave as Goldstein’s mother Andrea Gross looked on.

OK, who won the office pool on when this would happen? On-and-off couple Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler have called it quits for the umpteenth time.

US reports the breakup happened after the pair had a fight that ended when the cops showed up. A source blabbed, “a nasty fight broke out at his house last night and cops were called…[when] Shanna started freaking out and acting irrational…Travis confronted Shanna about her having an affair with Gerard Butler while he was in the hospital recovering.”

Those two were seen together six months ago, and he’s just getting upset about it now? The source added that Barker “just wants to focus on his music and his children right now. He is done with her drama.” Yeah, done with her drama until he gets horny lonely, and takes her back.

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM, also known as TRSVJDAM, will perform together for the first time since both were injured in a plane crash in September. The pair are scheduled to headline the New Year’s Nation New Year’s Eve party the Lot in West Hollywood and their set will be streamed live over the Internet and to to other New Year’s Nation parties in 10 U.S. cities. Barker released this statement:

“I’m ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house,” Barker said in a statement. “I’m very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of L.A.”

Both guys certainly deserve a great 2009 after all they’ve been through this year.

Travis Barker is feeling especially grateful this Thanksgiving and used his MySpace blog to express his feelings to his fans and friends.

“Thanksgiving thanks

I wanted to say thanks today, and share my gratitude for everything Ive been blessed with. Family, friends, and continued support from everyone. Thank you for life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living. My best to everyone…”

Barker is still recovering from third-degree burns suffered in a September private plane crash that also injured DJ AM and killed four others.

TMZ is reporting that Travis Barker has filed suit in L.A. County Superior Court against Bombardier Inc., Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber in connection with the September plane crash that left him and DJ AM with severe burns and killed four others.

 The suit was filed by Barker and the mother of his friend and bodyguard Charles “Che” Still, who lost his life in the crash.

 Charges in the suit include tire failure, pilot negligence and various defects in the aircraft. Barker is suing for “pain and suffering, mental anguish, psychological and emotional distress and disfigurement and pre-impact fear of death and burning.”

UPDATE: Travis Barker has been released from the burn center where he was receiving treatment for burns suffered from last months plane crash. It’s great news considering just earlier today, he wasn’t sure when he would be released.

Travis Barker recently updated his MySpace blog posting pictures of himself and visiting friends & family in the hospital. Considering the insane plane crash he survived, he’s looking good. I love that he gets food from Matsuhisa delivered personally, now that’s the good life! And as for what he has to say to hospital life, the following picture should need no explanation. Ouch!

Less than a month after the fiery small-plane crash that took four lives and seriously burned DJ AM and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the DJ was back on the job Wednesday night. DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) appeared with Jay-Z at the concert celebrating the reopening of Hollywood’s historic Palladium. While showing scars from skin grafts on his neck and arm, he didn’t miss a beat as he rapped along with Jay-Z. DJ AM will resume his regular gig in Vegas at Caesar’s Palace Pure nightclub starting Tuesday. His speedy recovery is even more remarkable given that doctors at the Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA, found a blood clot in his leg that could have proved fatal if not treated. In his first interview since the crash, Goldstein told People magazine that the clot was likely due to his frantic schedule of flying to clubs all over the country. Will he slow down in the future? Probably not but he stated to People that he has “a great deal of faith that everything happens for a reason.”

Travis Barker is not forgetting his two friends that perished in the plane crash that both he and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein walked away from with severe burns. Barker’s clothing line ‘Stars and Straps’ has designed a memorial shirt to raise funds for the families of Chris Baker and Charles “Che” Still, who lost their lives in the plane crash. All proceeds from sales of the shirts will go into the fund which are available exclusively at Famoussas.

People.com is reporting that Travis Barker has been released from a Georgia burn center. Barker and Adam “DJ AM’ Goldstein were the only survivors of a fiery plane crash which claimed the lives of four people nine days ago. Goldstein was released last week and both are expected to make full recoveries. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if both Goldstein and Barker are back on the road before the end of the year!

People.com is reporting that Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein has been released from a Georgia Hospital, where he’s been recovering from burns he suffered in a firey plance crash that left 4 passengers dead. Adam, along with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker with the only two to survive the crash, with both suffering severe burns.

Adam’s rep gave this statement, “While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”

Travis Barker is expected to be released in about two weeks.

UPDATE: Reports have been coming in all weekend from the hospital where Travis Barker and DJ AM are recuperating after surviving a plane crash in South Carolina. DJ AM is reported to have received second and third degree burns over 12% of his body, mainly on his arm and head. AM’s ex girlfriend Mandy Moore has flown in to be at his side while he recovers. Travis also received second and third degree burns over his torso. Doctors expect them to both make full recoveries. The cause of the accident is said to be a blown tire.

Travis Barker and DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, are both in stable but critical condition after a plane crash in South Carolina. Two passengers and two crew members were killed in the crash. One of the victims was Travis Barker’s 29 year old assistant Chris Baker who also appeared on the reality show, Meet The Barkers. DJ AM, who was formerly engaged to Nicole Richie, reportedly has suffered burns to his face and body and was airlifted to a local burn center. Barker was reportedly burned from his waist down but was transported by ambulance from the scene. Both recently performed DJ duties at MTV’s Video Music Award show earlier this month. There have been reports that both DJ AM and Travis lept from the burning plane immediately after the plane crashed into an embankment.
