The “High School Musical” actress told E!, ”I will show nudity in a film when the time is right,” but added this condition. “Right now, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it, but like I said, when the time’s right, if it’s an amazing movie that I’m really passionate about and that’s what it calls for, then we’ll see.”

Hudgens gave no hint of when that part might come along, so her young male fans don’t need to get their hormones racing yet.

ET reveals that Vanessa has won the lead in a modern-day take on “Beauty and the Beast,” untitled “Beastly.” The film tells the story of a spoiled rich kid who is turned into a grotesque monster after ditching a date. He must then find a kind-hearted lovely to break the spell.

Are there wedding bells in the future for “High School Musical” couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens?  The National Enquirer has reported Efron proposed last month while the pair were on a trip to Japan together, and a source told DigitalSpy:

“Zac is relieved to be out of the pressure cooker, because Vanessa’s mother has been putting serious heat on him to make an honest woman out of her daughter. She is old-school and doesn’t approve of Vanessa living with Zac without some type of wedding promise.”

If it’s true, good luck, guys! You sure make a cute couple. Although I’m sure this will break the hearts of millions of tweens who are dreaming of marrying Zac when they grow up!

Disney starlet Vanessa Hudgens recently purchased a new pad and her guy Zac Efron helped her decorate it in style. The Star is reporting he bought his lady a vintage Louis Vuitton steamer trunk for a cool $50,000. A source stated:

“Vanessa loves Louis Vuitton but she wouldn’t spend the money for it.”

As Hudgens tried to dodge the subject, DeGeneres pushed, “Well, you’ve got to say yes!” Hudgens finally answered, “OK, yes, fine.” C’mon girl—can’t you get more enthusiastic than that?

The girls from High School Musical 3 were speaking with Diane Sawyer this morning on Good Morning America about the latest addition to the film franchise. The two looked super cute and surprisingly less bubbly and annoying than I thought they’d be. Vanessa talk about how because she was home-schooled this was her first time “graduating”. And Ashley says that the biggest thing in her life to change has been getting free first class flights. Hmmm.. something tells me that more has changed than that! Anyways, cute video, cute girls.

Okay, I was wondering because I’m nosy, but we don’t exactly know where she’s headed to. It does look like I’m going with the starlet in the doorway theme, though, because Van’s looking out at something here, too. Okay, now I’m wondering what she’s looking at. And after doing some wonderful google research, I just found out that Vanessa’s actually in Ohio. She’ll be performing at Fifth Third Field in Dayton with Corbin Bleu tomorrow. High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has a little lawsuit in her hands – in the tune of $5 million. A music producer is claiming the actress and her father have repeatedly violated a contract and failed to pay him his share of her earnings. Vanessa entered into an agreement with producer Johnny Vieira when she was still a minor. Vieira is claiming that Vanessa and her father sued to get out of the agreement, but they have failed to abide by the settlement terms. He claims the agreement called for him to equally share in advances, royalties and merchandising from Hudgens’ career. He is also suing Vanessa’s dad for defamation, claiming Greg Hudgens sent an email describing Vieira as a “predator”. Vanessa and her peeps have yet to release a response.

Our photogs spotted High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale shopping at the Westfield Center yesterday in Sherman Oaks. Ash was brown baggin’ it, stopping by Bloomingdales for some goodies. While shopping with her mom, Ashley even bumped into fellow HSM-er and BFF, Vanessa Hudgens, at Sunglass Hut. Yeah, I guess after finishing up filming for HSM3, these two have all the time in the world to shop. Good times for them. Ashley, who turned twenty-three on July 2, is looking to branch into more mature roles. Disney recently announced a spin-off of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody called The Suite Life on Deck, which will feature all of the former’s cast members, sans Ashley. Vanessa Hudgens has been doing her best to keep from getting photographed by paparazzi the last few days but it hasn’t stopped us from trying! Uli and Jonzen, along with the third member of the trio, Galo, spent some time with Vanessa. High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens was spotted leaving Treats for the Face in Sherman Oaks (part of the valley, for folks outside of L.A.) yesterday. After getting her facial treats out of the way, the “Sneakernight” singer then headed to a dance studio in Studio City. Vanessa’s been taking it easy before she and the rest of the HSM3 cast start doing promotional tours for the movie, which is coming out in October. It doesn’t mean she’s been out of the limelight, though. In fact, Van is actually going to be starring in a bunch of Sears commercials just in time for their back-to-school sales. These kids and their hoodies. In the wake of summertime heat, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens decided to sweat it out in warmer gear yesterday when they headed to Best Buy in Burbank. It looks like they picked up a nice Samsung computer screen. The High School Musical co-stars have been dating for over a year and looked like any regular young couple buying an electronic gadget for their first apartment or something. Except, of course, for the legions of Best Buy employees who were surrounding them. Did it really take that many people to help these two find something? Of course not. Vanessa’s been camera shy lately, too. She also had her hoodies working overtime yesterday when she tried to sneak out of Zac’s house (unsuccessfully, obviously). Ah, young love in the public eye. What could be more romantic?
