Whitney’s New Hookup

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

Former “The Hills” star Whitney Port has a new series, a new city and a new squeeze. OK! reports the actress is dating to “Lipstick Jungle” hunk Robert Buckley.

The pair met while in Miami to host the Havaianas Spring Break event at the Shore Club. An observer told OK!, “They were really cute with each other.”

Maybe Whiney can get her new love a pat on her show “The City,” since “Lipstick Jungle” isn’t likely to be back.

“Hills” Co-stars Comment On Speidi Surprise

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

The “surprise” elopement of camera-ready couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag may have caught their relatives off-guard but their castmates from “The Hills” seem to be taking the wedding pretty casually. Audina Patridge told People magzine:

“I am surprised and not surprised at the same time. They obviously adore each other and are very committed to one another. Heidi and Spencer seem like the types who would want a lavish wedding full of friends and family. I do think it’s very romantic that they eloped.”

Whitney Port gave her comment to Extra:

“Congratulations to them. I think it’s great if that’s what they’re ready to do. Good for them.”

Wonder if any of these “actors” will tell us what they really think?

Whitney To The City

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

So after last night’s episode of The Hills, Whitney Port showed up to air the trailer of her new show, The City. Wow far stretch from what she is already on, right? Yeah, not so much. What I find interesting is that in The Hills you never really got to see much of her personal life so Whitney was always the drama free sweet girl. That’s not the case entirely with this new show of hers. It is basically her moving to NY to start working for DVF (Diane von Furstenberg for those fashion challenged) which is essentially a dream come true. Already they are showing a love triangle she’s involved with and some fairly untrustworthy guys. Not to mention a few make out scenes. This might just turn out to be a moderately interesting show, but we’ll only know when it finally comes out. I’ll keep you posted.

Yet Another Designer

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

It seems as though the being a part of ‘The Hills’ is all the experience one needs to start their own clothing line. LC, Heidi, and Whitney have all come out with their own lines. In fact, I have to admit that Whitney Port’s Eve + A line is by far the most innovative and fashion forward of the three. Heidi’s Heidiwood line is nothing but cheap Vegas-wear, but I’m sure people still buy it. The fourth girl to join the ranks of being a “designer” is Audrina Patridge. I’m a little nervous about this to tell you the truth. Whenever I see her all I see are tight tees and tanks and tight jeans… well basically everything she wears is skin tight. I mean, after all, she is one classy girl. Audrina will be not only the Divine Rights of Denim spokesgirl, but will be collaborating with them to design a line of clothing, all affordable, which we all know is essential in this economic crisis. Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if all that money I spent on fashion school was just a waste. Maybe I should just try to be a new friend on The Hills. Genius!

Her Hills Are Alive

Friday, June 6th, 2008

There was speculation that one of The Hills star will be getting their own MTV spin-off. The initial suspects were Heidi and Spencer, of course, since they have that whole on-again-off-again engagement thing going on. Well, it seems that Whitney Port’s actually getting her own show. Us Weekly is reporting on its new issue that MTV will be prepping a spin-off for Port following her bi-coastal lifestyle as a People’s Revolution PR chick. I guess Whitney’s made friends with a bunch of NYC gals, so they’ll be showing a lot of her interactions with a new crew. Sounds…interesting. And what does LC have to say about her pal getting her own show? “I think that Whitney will do really well with it,” Lauren told Us, “she is a very likable person.” Well, that’s very supportive of her. Let’s hope the show gets some great supporting characters because, even though Whitney didn’t bother me in The Hills, I don’t know if I could watch a whole half-hour show just about her.
