After pleading No Contest to leaving the scene of an accident last month, Adnan Ghalib was sentenced today to 45 days in jail with credit for one days served. He will also serve probation and community service and be required to take anger management classes. This all stems from an incident earlier this year when process servers tried to serve Adnan papers and instead were allegedly run over by Ghalib as he fled the scene. Three of the more serious felony counts were dropped.

Lawyer Mark Geragos earned his hefty fee by convincing probation officials that Brown had already done 100 hours of community service. Whoopee. Isn’t that like, two and a half weeks out of six months? He does less than a month out of six and gets an “extremely favorable” report? Brown’s now doing a “comeback” tour and releasing a new album. When will he get back to VA and finish picking up trash off the highway?

Victoria Beckham opened up to Allure magazine about some of her preferences, and it’s not surprising to learn that she’d rather have sex with her hunky hubby than nap! Paris says that she and her man slept through the brawl. “Doug and I were in bed, sound asleep, when Doug’s houseguests from hell got into an argument. We had nothing to do with it. Doug told the LAPD that his guests’ fight was over and that we had nothing to do with it.”

The barristers repped Rod in three cases, including one where he was ordered to pay a Vegas hotel $2 million after canceling a show. Hey, just because you lost the case doesn’t mean you can stiff your lawyers. Pay up, Rod!

Ultimate rocker chick Joan Jett walked the red carpet at Monday night’s premiere of “New Moon,” and she gave RadarOnline the scoop on seeing Kristen Stewart portray her in the biopic “The Runaways.” The film is based on Jett’s memoirs of her days in the teen girls’ rock group.

Shauna recounted her own situation: “I made my own very private and personal video earlier this year with my ex-boyfriend and a third party brought it to Vivid. I was stunned and terrified at what might happen if this footage was made public.

“I hired an attorney who sent a cease and desist letter to Steven Hirsch at Vivid and shortly after he received it, Steven called me and requested a meeting. I went to the meeting full of rage. During the meeting, however, I realized that I could actually take control of the situation. Instead of spending thousands of dollars in legal fees for a lawsuit that could take months or even years to be resolved, I could actually turn things around.”

Free-spending actor Nicolas Cage has been sued by the business manager he blames for his financial problems. The AP reports Samuel J. Levin filed a countersuit in response to the star’s suit for fraud filed last month. Levin claims he went to work for Cage in 2001 and tried to restrain his buying sprees, which included luxury vehicles, multiple homes and lavish parties.

Cage has been forced to sell some of his automobiles and several homes have been lost to foreclosure. Cage sounds like someone with an addiction to shopping who just can’t help himself. Wonder how well rehab works for that?
