Behind The Scenes: The Changeling Set

We’ve featured many pictures of Angelina Jolie looking simply marvelous in her attire for the period piece, The Changeling. But to see the set, complete with era-specific cars and all the extras dressed in depression-era garb is something else. I had a chance to drive through downtown Los Angeles, where production for the Changeling continued in front of City Hall, and saw many of the extras hanging around afterwards, still dressed in their costumes. It was nice to imagine a time when folks took special care in their attire, dressing up in a nice three-piece suit for the men, and layered skirted attires complete with pearls and hats for the women. I looked down at my orange Havaianas flip flops and almost felt compelled to put on some shoes. But hey, we ARE in sunny Los Angeles. And it is almost 2008. Okay, that’s no excuse not to wear shoes in November, but I can still look out the car window and lust after frilly skirts and flirty heels. The Changeling is set for a November 2008 release.
