Brad Tries To Make It Easier For The Big Easy

As if being half of the ultimate Hollywood power couple isn’t enough, Brad Pitt announced this morning on The Today Show that he is starting a foundation called “Make It Right” to help rebuild New Orleans. He’s specifically targeting the 9th Ward, which was one of the hardest hit during Katrina, as well as one of the poorest sections of New Orleans before the disaster. The foundation’s aim is to build 150 environmentally friendly homes in this region by next summer. Hopefully news like this will give more attention to New Orleans and other areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Although it happened over two years ago, those areas still need a lot of assistance. We can’t really say too much except a big kudos to Brad. Angelina must be so proud!
