Ya Gotta’ Love Jimbo

The premise of the new Jim Carrey vehicle, Yes Man, is an adaptation of Dan Wallace’s memoir of the same title. It sounds more serious than it is, but with Jim Carrey as the main character, you know it’ll teeter more towards the absurdly funny. Just as the title states, Yes Man is about a guy who decides to say yes to everything for a whole year. I don’t really know where this scene with Luis Guzman would fall in the category of Jim saying yes to everything, but the looks on their faces are freakin’ classic. Luis Guzman’s one of those character supporting actors whose face you’ll recognize in a minute, but until I told you his name was Luis Guzman, you didn’t know it. He’s been in every movie out there. Jimbo’s about due for another Carrey movie classic. Dude, I still laugh like a special ed hyena when I watch Dumb and Dumber, but that could just be because I am special ed.
