Heath Ledger Dead At 28

Update: It was originally reported that the apartment Heath Ledger was in when he died is owned by Mary Kate Olsen, but NYPD now confirms that this is untrue. It’s also noted that the pills found around Heath were prescription medicine, possibly sleeping pills. An autopsy is scheduled tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates.

This is very shocking and sad news. Heath Ledger was found dead today at age 28. He was found by his housekeeper in his Manhattan apartment. MSNBC reported that Heath had a massage appointment scheduled this afternoon at his apartment. The masseuse arrived for the appointment and when Heath’s housekeeper looked for him, she found him dead in his room. It’s being reported that there were pills around the Brokeback Mountain star when he was found. It’s being noted that his death could be drug-related, but examiners have not confirmed this. Heath ended his relationship with Michelle Williams last August, whom he had two year-old daughter Matilda with. Heath just finished filming The Dark Knight, another big-budget superhero film based on Batman where he plays the Joker. The movie was set to release this summer. It is definitely a sad day for the movie industry. Our sincerest condolences to Heath Ledger’s family and friends.
