Get Well For The Kids

After going through a bunch our archived pictures of Britney today, I wanted to post a few shots of her with the kids. As Britney goes through her mandatory 72-hour hospitalization and her parents fight to get rights to oversee her treatment, there has not been any mention of her two kids. Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden Jaymes, 1, are still with their father, Kevin Federline. Britney lost visitation rights to her children after her January 3 breakdown that resulted in her first hospitalization. Kevin has not visited his ex at the hospital, but I’m sure he’s in contact with Brit’s mom, Lynne. This is the second time in one month that Brit’s been hospitalized and I hope she stays in there longer. Britney needs a proper evalutation regarding whatever mental illness she suffers from, so that she can then get the proper treatment. If not for herself, hopefully she starts the process of getting better for her kids. For now we are still working on getting you updates from Brit’s camp regarding her situation, so stay tuned for those.

Definitely. She may not and probably should not get full custody again but she needs to be a part of her children life and they definitely deserve a healthy mom.
I like this post - it really hit home. Hope she is on her way up (I could care less about a “comeback” it is about the children)

Get well, Brit. You have two beautiful boys who could use a kind, loving, down to earth, genuine mother in their lives. Have faith, it’s always blackest before the dawn. Peace be upon you

I am willing to take a risk by writing this - and hopefully it will be read as it is intended - sympathetically. The early years of marriage are difficult. I wish Kevin and Britney had not chosen film Chaotic - because it invited public scrutiny into their private lives. I believe they were once in the blush of young love. Both came from small town USA with dreams of fame and fortune. Britney worked hard and succeeded - Kevin has not (yet). I cannot fault him for wanting to make a success in life, for his own pride and for his children. To that end, I wish him well. I am hopeful when Britney is well, she will be able to see her children. They are so young and she will see much change. The boys have been well cared for and much loved. I hope she can set aside her animosity toward her ex-husband and understand that he sheltered their children when she was not able to care for them. Together, they must learn to co-parent without rancor.
A piece of unsolicited advice for young married couples:
The intimate details of your marriage should always remain private. If you share private matters with family, friends and colleagues - you risk breaking a sacred bond.
How can I be so confident?
I’ve been married 33 years, to a man that I am still head over heels in love with - together we have raised one young doctor.
There are many different kinds of families. I hope you all work hard - together - to build happy lives.

One more note:
When Britney re-emerges as a healthy young woman/mother, I am hopeful she will also set aside her animosity toward her parents - and see them in a new light - as parents too. In her darkest hours, they were parents who cared for their child (Britney) - when she could not cared for herself.
As always, I remain - hopeful.

Im glad you put up those photos. There have been so many nasty comments on other sites about how she doesnt care etc. It must be SO awful for her to have her medical problem AND have her kids taken away. I understand that she may not have been able to look after them at the time, but lets hope that the kids will understand one day the difficulties she faced, and love her unconditionaly.
