Brit’s Salon Visit

Britney Spears hits up the salon

The force that is Britney Spears proved her star power last night in West Hollywood where she was getting her hair done. A throng of WeHo police (okay, about four) came on the scene and told the paps where to shove it. Okay, they didn’t really do that, but they did detain a TMZ videographer and confiscated a photographer’s equipment as evidence for flashing from the street. I didn’t know you couldn’t flash from the street - well, the other flashing you can’t do, er, nevermind. WeHo police has been getting tougher on paps lately, but to have four police officers arrest two people is a bit much. Especially when they know these two folks aren’t carrying weapons - only cameras. I have more pictures of the scene below for you to check out. I just wish I had a pic of Brit’s new hairdo, but I’m sure we’ll see her around the street soon enough.

Hey there, will someone please tell us where there is confirmation that Britney IS suffering from Bipolar disorder. All we see is speculation, not actual fact.

No Court papers or psychiatrist/doctor/medical professional has actually said/named what she DOES suffer from (other than a ‘mental illness’).

The only mention of Bipolar (from those who know Britney) has come from the absolute waffle dribbling from that sociopath Osama Lutfi and his fool of a publicist Michael Sands (not the most reliable of sources, wouldn’t you say).

There appears to have been no other person who is informed and professional who has named her illness. Again, there has been no ACTUAL confirmation, or even suggestion of Bipolar disorder from any ‘official’ source regarding said specific disorder. (Or has there?)

Why is it that it is continually assumed she has Bipolar without confirmation? This really bugs me because Bipolar takes a damned sight longer to level out from than what Britney is evidencing in her behavior - even WITH companions/minders.

There is no way a Bipolar sufferer would be able to engage in the ‘normal’ activities that Britney has been involved in so soon after being hospitalized, so what’s going on here. Bipolar .. or drug induced psychosis?

I have had experience (very long and involved experience) in support of mentally ill family members who have Bipolar (and other mental conditions) and what Britney is able to do does not indicate recovery from (a) severe Bipolar episode(s). Adding that I have seen some real hellish periods of that illness, especially for my ex-husband.

Surely someone can get the basic facts on Britney’s actual illness?

As for those underwear shots, looks like pink underwear to me, not bare body.

Hmmm…I agree 100% that we have NOT heard an official Medical Diagnosis for Britney and hoping to hear soon as the evaluations are in.
As for “stabilization” period IF she is Bi-Polar, 2 weeks is more than enough time to figure out if subscribed meds are working as they should and mood is stabilized - this is experience with my Mom who is Bi-Polar but not severely afflicted.

Changing the subject and referring to the pictures in this post….I wonder why Britney is holding her purse in front of her belly area like all the pregnant Celebs out there?

Wow - That brings on a whole new twist to the legal battle - what if Adnan fights for unrestricted access to care for his babymama & ensure safety of his unborn child?
Brit’s parents would become a lot busier … and stressed out no doubt!

Clearly all the various police agencies have joined together to harass the paparazzi. Shame on them! Flashing from the street? Civel rights violation. Bogus. Chicken____.

I hope you guys are taping and filming all these so called Law Enforcers pulling these various stunts. I’ve heard the same quote from 3 different police agencies in the past two days, “We’re going to get all you guys”.

Um, really? Video tape ‘em saying that, video tape the plain clothes dudes badging you, video tape every single incident of the cops pulling this stunt.

We’ll find out which is more powerful, their bullying tactics or the First Amendment.

    G,
there are plenty of pics that show her not covering up her belly when she’s leaving, and when she’s getting out of the car. And she hasn’t had the flatest belly in a while. From what I can see, it looks like a normal belly rather than one that may be “showing”… A little too soon to be showing in the way that some hype describes, esp if it’s supposed to be Adnan’s…!

Jim, I think it’s creative policing. They were apparently done for clocking a driveway! And if there are no laws protecting celebs then this creativity may just get paps to think. It won’t ever stop it, they get too much money, but I bet some celebs would breathe a sigh of relief if they at least took the pics from a few feet away!

  7. MARK TWAIN Says:

Unfortunately Jim, this type of harassment has been going on for a long time now. This time they are more aggressive and is now part of the agenda. It’s bad enough that there are not enough police to patrol our city. Now the law enforcement are being used to do private security work. Their main goal is to harasse and make hard working law abbiding freelance photographers into criminals. The problems with our politicians these days are that they are always eager to pass blanketed laws that does not really solve the core of the problems. If they really cared about anything they needed to go to the source and speak directly to the paparazzi’s. Unfortunately the paparazzi or paparazzi industry does not have any kind of representation of any sort like the mainstream media does. But this is the beauty of our country. Even the weakest and the urepresented can speak through an image or a pen.

So they go ahead and pass laws like they were passing laws against criminals. Hi political career just went up a notch with special interest at the price of our constitution.

On many occasions law enforcement simply hates the fact that they have to answer these calls. Many of them will tell the photographers that they are not doing anything wrong. Some will even say “you guys know the rules”. The media was even manipulated by politicians and law enforcement by leaking stories about the BLOODS and the CRIPS. How racist it was of them to use these black gangs as boogie men in their quest to scare the public.

Examples of harassments by law enforcement are giving tickets to paparazzi legally parked. Police will often use an address way down the block with a valid illegal parking sign. I was once given a citation by an overly aggressive Beverly Hills PD trying to move the crowd out of the way. When I replied to the police officer about how these people could stand there, he decided to give me a ticket. I had asked him to make sure that the ticket must be detailed because there is no way in hell I’m breaking any laws. He had summoned a Sargeant and another officer who brought out a lawbook as thick as 3 phone books. I had told them that If this officer gives me a tciket, then he must give over 2 dozen photogs and the tourist that had gatrhered to watch a Jennifer Lopez movie being filmed. I had asked a videographer to film but was quickly surrounded by other police and was told that he was obstructing an investigation and would get arrested if he continued. I thought of these people as Nazi’s at that moment, I was so angry but I calmly protested their treatment against me. What pissed them off is that I knew most of legallities regarding street photography and had asked the officers if I could go to my car and hand them the legal giude book for freelance photographers which I purchased at Sammy’s camera…lol..

The police officer wanted to take my gear and told him that he had no right to take anything from me. He was so angry because he just could not get anything from me. He threatened to finally have me arrested until the lead officer had him calm down. I was asked to put my camera equipment down. I complied and it was a terrible mistake. The angry officer turns and his leg tipped my camera and lens knocking it down. I had to pay $395 dollars at Nikon because impacts were not covered in the warranty.

I had to go to BH court to pay or fight the ticket. I was originally going to fight the case when I receiced a phone call about Angelina Jolie learnig how to fly at Santa Monica Airport. I decided to just pay the fine and go. If it was another day, I would have given that officer in court and the rest of the law makers something to talk about. This was about 4 to 5 years ago. So this harassment is nothing new. Most Law enforcement are devided by this. But this time the law makers and the heads of both LASD and LAPD have made a war against our first ammendment.

My sisters fiance who is a deputy in Carson City had warned me about an aggressive tactics that both LASD and LAPD will be using against freelance paparazzi’s.

I can assure you that photogs who wants things to be better would like somekind of regulation but not laws. Because passing any laws will not work because the criminal elements are being done not buy the citizens but by foreign and illegals that has infiltrated the business. Foreign photographers who are granted visa’s must have a different rules than photogs from the states. Many of these foreign photogs could care less about laws and work without any regards to it. I’m not saying all of them but most of them. Regulation is the key. This will weed out the bad apples. Specially the illegals that know doubles in numbers versus the locals and credentialed foreign photogs.

I remember Tom Cruise’s security tried to push back an overly aggressive photographer who got so close that he bumped the celebrity. The first thing that came out his mouth was he knows his rights. You can’t do this to me. I know my rights, he insisted. The funny thing about this story is that photog or a person with the camera was an illegal alien. I have nothing against anyone working hard here illegal or not. It’s Sust fuck up that these people have no clue about respect. They use our own laws and our own rights against us. It’s fucking amazing.
. I’m from L.A. and love this place. For many of us L.A. photogs, we have a saying that we use to the new and foreign photogs. “WE DONT SHIT WHERE WE SLEEP”. It’s obvious for most of them, they don’t are what you think. They are here to make money and they will run it to the ground and make the people that live here pay for it.

In India, Media and paparazzi’s are not only protected by their laws but also by the mass of people who believes without them, the powerful goes uncheck. I think America was once something like that.
