Adrien Grenier Gets Schooled By L.A. Pap Legend

Adrien Grenier is working on a documentary that studies the symbiotic relationship between celebrities and the paparazzi. Yeah, I used the word symbiotic and I even know what it means! But I digress. Adrien spent the day working with paparazzi new and old on Brooke Shields and even spent some time hanging with the paps up at Britney Spears’. We’ll be bringing you another episode of Pap 101 from our time with Adrien later today, so check back for some fun time with Adrien. You can see a quick shot of Adrien in the background of the Brooke Shields shot below. C’mon Adrien, you’ve got to be in front of the talent! But I’m sure L.A. pap legend, who we lovingly refer to as the ‘Lion King’, let him know after Adrien showed him his shots. Pay attention to the man Adrien, he knows what he’s talking about.

Excellent that we get to see something of the paparazzi lifestyle and how they go about their work, as well as the ‘human factor,’ who they are.
One of the many positive facets of JFX is that here we hear of (and from) those behind the lenses and behind the site.
As we know, one ‘person of fame’ generates a large industry employing a great many people. Often it is those people who are far more interesting than many of the ‘celebrities’ and ’stars.’
Add that those who work for, with and around those ‘celebrities’ often lead far more interesting lives. They hail from a broad range of locations, are of many different ethnicities and have come to their present jobs in the industry from a wide variety of directions.
Adnan (and Britney) have (inadvertently) done all of those people a great service. They have begun the breaking down of barriers between “them and us.”
This has made possible the beginning of dialogue between those who are the object of interest and those who take the pics and/or write the stories.
As a result, there may develop a greater understanding between the two points of view. This will ease the way for all parties to go about their business with a lot less rancor, more understanding and acceptance, and a greater degree of good will.

Never noticed or paid much attention to Adrien Grenier before, but once he “turned pap,” I sure sat up and noticed. He’s is one HOT pap!
OMG. I think I have a thing for paps!
I saw the video of Adrien on hollywoodtv, and it was great to see the other paps helping him out, showing him how to work his camera, and being pretty cool to him. I’m really looking forward to his documentary on the pap lifestyle. I have wondered about the other side of the lens for a while now. Glad someone is finally going to shed some light on it.
