Spears Family Reunion
Britney’s house is a little fuller today after sister Jaime Lynn Spears and daughter Maddie flew in yesterday for a visit. Jaime Lynn flew in for an expected birthday party celebration for Britney’s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, who turn 3 and 2 respectively this week. The above picture is of Kevin Federline leaving Britney’s home with sons Sean and Jayden after visitation with Britney.

My question is who is going to hike up there and get pics of this shindig?? Uli needs to go hang out in a tree and watch the party. lol

oh gigi I am just about certain OK Magazine will get the pics.. but through whom… hmmm…
I’m sure OK will have official pics as they did of Jamie Lynn’s baby shower, but .. hmmm.
It’s meanwhile only been in the past week that we have seen Kevin, personally, in the light of day, picking up his kids.
It seems indicative that he and Brit are showing a more unified front to the media?

Hopefully they have buried the hatchett for the sake of the boys and can learn to be adults about it. The boys need both their parents and they need them to get along.

Or could it be that Kevin might have gotten fed up with the talk about him NOT picking up the kids in person.

Too many times the parents act like children and fight all the time. Its not good to do that to the kids. They might not understand now but they will when they are a little older. Just learn to get along. Having kids together means your stuck forever together by that connection. May as well get along.

I did not even have in my mind that any photo occasion for ANY paper would occur on the boys birthday party! Hope not!!
Britney and Kevin talking because of the media? No, don’t think so. Its for sure for the boys sake. The kids are the most important now. don’t you think?
Media will turn it to whatever they need, depending how little or much scandals there are among other celebs for the time beeing.
If they dont stay inside the whole day, I guess there will be some pics, from distances..

small, I disagree with you. It is a photo opportunity. Do you think the check is going into Mama’s account? I don’t think so.
Ama, I predict several “official” group photos in OK and then some incidentals. Try to think what those pictures will say, without the prose, as caption. Think positive and intentioned rather than random invasion of privacy? There’s a bigger picture, Ama.
KLM, it could be but I don’t think so. Not sure why Kaplan wasn’t having K-Fed in daylight picking up his kids anyhow. Maybe he was afraid there’d be a faux pas, e.g., K-Fed drops kid? Doesn’t use seatbelt and myriad other unforeseen accidents, damaging to the image of a superior parent? That’s part of how he was winning right?
G, take the emotion out of it and consider the image of parents getting along? Just for a sec? The image of it. Maybe they are getting along, who knows, but I can’t ignore the image of it.
It is well that everyone in the “picture” is cooperating now, to get the job done. It’s called in part Public Relations, and Marketing in another part. The rest is just supposed to be natural, like those pics of Britney and her child, just before Mother’s Day.
Ama, remember those? Did you think they were an invasion of privacy? Did they seem random to you? Did the timing of their release capture your notice?
You wrote earlier that Britney is a very hard worker and you admire her for that. Hell yes. She works very hard. We still do not know what Grossman and Lutfi did to the coffers, nevermind Britney’s own spending. Is there shame in chronicling a birthday event?

Ama, did you see the images from Brit’s first interview, exclusive with OK Magazine?
She and the boys were dressed in white. The boys were in white tuxes. They all might have been heading to a wedding. My sister, more religious than I, said, that’s what you wear to a First Communion.
Did you note the product placement? Cheetos, Sunkist orange drink, carrots?
You may be kidding yourself into thinking this birthday party will be a private affair.

I say, I don’t care how much money Britney get from here work in that piece of business who entertiment are.
To be forced to live a life depending on what papers write about her and her family must be pure HELL!
Its not worth it.
Its inhuman.
Its humiliation over and over again.
Hope she can earn the money she need, in the couple of next two years, so she can live a life long way from the industry. Then both she and her kids will start feel how good life really can be.
Still hope there will be as private as possibly, this first birthday together with the whole family, that the boys get.
But then again. Its not only Britney and her side of the family who it depend on.
They have a father to, this little kids, and who knows about his thougts…

small, I appreciate your perspective. I think OK has only written one negative article on Brit? No one sold that content to OK.

I think there is a cost to getting big endorsements, such as Pepsi, and other lucrative deals. I can’t lament what led to this.
Neither can I argue for or against the cost of being an entertainer. It is what it is.
Everyone has a choice, Ama. Even Britney. If her choice is to trust her manager, ok. If she needs or wants to replenish her coffers, ok. The other choice is bankruptcy or risking unpaid debts?
I don’t know what all she faces, but she DOES have a choice.

I hope she have “seen the light” (not meaning any religious thing here, so there will be misunderstandings ?!?) now.
Going through a lot of very hard thing this last years, she must have come to a point where she start asking herself if the price tag for having her dream occupation, not is to high?
I want her to be happy. Of course I understand that she have a choice! (Start feel like I have to be overexplicit, to not be misunderstod!)
But for now (happening NOW), she have a record on board, many people depending on her and a goal for the future with her sons.
Thats why I write “a couple of years”, dear AM.

Thanks, Ama. Here’s what I was picturing in context to trusting those around her, her manager in particular.
Did you ever try something that was counter everyone and be wrong? Did you ever lose a little or lot of self-trust over realizing “they” were right and you were wrong? Ouch.
I don’t think Britney is being forced to do anything that she doesn’t understand or isn’t in collusion with, now. She’s not a rookie. She can clearly see things are going better by following some direction.
I guess that I am saying that while there may be heartache in not having a private, family only birthday party (and there will DEFINITELY be a private one, if not several) it is the “way” of it.
Like water runs downstream, or bursts from pipes. It is the way of it.
Maybe I am not having an easy time being clear because I don’t like the situation either. I’m trying to be positive, see the business side, without reading justice or injustice of it.
I hate what’s going on for her. It’s better and more promising than last year but captivity is captivity? Perhaps I am naive to try to think positive, like she’ll be able to pay the attorneys etc. Or that one of our own might be the lucky “candid” photographer and he can feed his family and pay his bills.
It’s business. I believe I know your dream dear Ama, and I share it? There must be some way to tame the monster of the situation and the players, over time.

p.s. Ama, have you noticed how “normal” the image of Britney and family has become? Her kids like her spaghetti? Every kid in the U.S. that I have ever heard of loves spaghetti. It is the glue of mainstream middle class society, something everyone can relate to.
It may have been a random statement in the last OK magazine display but … I doubt it. It should have appealed to every mom, whether they use Prego, Ragu or plain homemade.
A birthday party? My. The opportunity. What has really come out of the story so far. Weeks ago we saw the kids with on of Gwen Stephani’s child. Now we here there are other friends with other children and it will be a big family thing.
The image I carried was that Brit has friends, Brit has family, and she and K-Fed are “good parents” having a regular old birthday party for the kids.
Brit and her family get out of the courtrooms and out from under worry over debt. I pray things will be easier and out of the spotlight and then our friend come back in public.
Lynne’s book is important.
