“Samantha” Slides in Ratings

Christina Applegate (seen here with castmates Melissa McCarthy and Jennifer Esposito) has plenty to be happy about these days since she’s beaten breast cancer but she’s probably not too thrilled with this season’s ratings for her show “Samantha Who?” Ratings for the second episode dropped 16% from those of its debut despite a strong lead-in by ratings powerhouse “Dancing with the Stars,” which was the most-watched show of the night. This show’s producers better have some tricks up their sleeves for the upcoming November Sweeps.
