Courteney Cox Moving To “Cougar Town”

“Friends” star Courteney Cox is headed back to the small screen for the series “Cougar Town.” Cox plays a newly-single 40-year-old with a teenage son in the show, which is being prepped for a mid-season launch on ABC. Creator Bill Lawrence (who was also responsible for “Scrubs” says of the series:

“Forty-year-old women on TV are so beautiful and perfect and wrinkle-free, People don’t do the reality of it and there is a real comedy area about a woman who is talking about Botox, about having sex with the lights on and how her body is changing.”

Does this mean Cox’s character won’t be perfect and wrinkle-free? That would certainly be a first.
