Did Winona OD On Xanax ?

The British tabloids are reporting that Winona Ryder’s in-flight medical emergency was caused by an overdose of Xanax.  Ryder allegedly took the anxiety-relieving pills to combat her fear of flying. She collapsed twice on a British Airways flight from L.A. to London and was rushed to the hospital upon landing.

What happened to just getting drunk on planes? Especially since you’re stuck in a moving cocktail lounge where you can’t get up and leave.
