Lilly Defends Drug Use
In a move that make Amy Winehouse look almost sane by comparison, Brit singer Lilly Allen has given the thumbs-up to cocaine use in the UK Sun. The ditzy diva said:
“The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you - you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that’s not true. I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t sensationalise it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs.”
So who’s good at taking them? Anybody who’s still alive?

Brad Sticks Up For Angie And Jen
Ever the gentleman, Brad Pitt has nice things to say about his both baby mama Angelina Jolie and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. On the subject of Angie, he told W magazine for their February issue :
“She’s not a homewrecker. What people don’t understand is that we filmed ['Mr. & Mrs. Smith'] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful.”
He also praised his ex, who has called his onset coupling with Angie “uncool.”
“Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created. We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”
Well, it’s his life and it’s a whole lot more interesting than ours.

SJP Moving On - And Out?
Star reports that Sarah Jessica Parker, fed up with husband, Matthew Broderick’s philandering, has finally decided to end the marriage—and is looking for new digs in NYC. The star of “Sex and the City” has already visited a real estate broker in an effort to find a new pad for herself and 6-year-old son, James Wilkie. A source told Star:
“The time has come when she realizes it just isn’t worth it. Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtain on her marriage.”
So will Parker be living her own version of ”Sex and the City” soon—but as a single mom?

Sam Gets Bum’s Rush
Sometimes a girl can’t win. Samantha Ronson threw up her hands in frustration after being mistaken for a man by an aggressive street begger in Beverly Hills. Sam was leaving Il Tramezzino restaurant on Monday when she gave the begger $2. Thinking it was not enough, the begger, who called Sam a dude, chased her down for more money.

It’s A Girl!
The adorable Violet Affleck has a little sister. Mom Jennifer Garner gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday in Los Angeles. No word yet on what Garner and husband Ben Affleck will be naming the new addition.
