Update: Ashlee Simpson Pregnant???

Update #2: People.com is now reporting that they heard from another source that Ashlee IS preggy. They story also stated that Ash and fiance Pete Wentz will be getting married in May at a friend’s residence in La Jolla, CA. Ashlee stopped by MTV’s TRL yesterday and neither denied nor confirmed reports that she was pregnant when asked. If she is pregnant, we’ll all get to see the proof in no time.

Update: Pete Wentz sent an email to MTV News today denying the pregnancy. ”There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood,” he wrote. “This is all news to me.” So there you go - the daddy’s saying he’s not going to be a daddy.

First the engagement news, then the baby news. Us Magazine is reporting that Ashlee Simpson is pregnant and will be expecting her first child with fiance Pete Wentz. The two just announced their engagement last week. Her reps didn’t comment about the pregnancy, but Us reportedly got confirmation from their source. Whom you want to believe is up to you. If it’s true, a big congrats to the happy couple. Auntie Jessica will be a great babysitter.
