Ashlee Simpson is pregnant. Yes, I know it’s shocking to hear, but she is. Ashlee and new hubby Pete Wentz finally confirmed what we’ve known all along - that she’s knocked up. Pete confirmed the news on his website, friendsorenemies.com. The couple got married on May 17 and just returned from a Caribbean honeymoon. Here’s what the couple had to say on the site, which actually makes a lot of sense as to why they waited to announced their news: “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child.This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.” Congrats to the couple!
