Jacko’s Driver Turns Himself In

It’s hard to get away with a hit-and-run when the paparazzi take photos of the event.
RadarOnline reports Michael Jackson’s driven turned himself into police last night after finding out he was wanted, but claims he did not know he hit an ambulance outside outside Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Thursday afternoon. The driver is free tonight and no charges have been filed. The two EMTs who were in the ambulance when it was hit may be suing for their injuries.
So this guy’s driving Jacko around in a big-ass Caddy Escalade, but can’t see an ambulance when he hits one? I’d be looking for another driver, before this one runs over a horse and claims he didn’t see it.

Paris’ BFF Injured In Crash

Brittany Flickinger, who won the MTV reality show “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” but hasn’t been seen with the heiress lately, was banged up in an auto accident last night.
TMZ reports Flickinger was on her way to a party in Hollywood last night when the car in which she was riding smashed into two vehicles stopped on the 170 Freeway. She hadn’t buckled her seat belt, so her head hit the windshield. (Quiz: How many traffic violations do we see here?)
Flickinger went to the hospital for tests but had only a chipped bone in her leg. I’m guessing she never made it to that party.

Jacko’s Hit And Run

Michael Jackson’s OK after a trip to the hospital Wednesday—but an ambulance driver wasn’t as lucky.
EMT Jamin Mauro related to KNBC news how he and his partner were sitting in their ambulance eating lunch outside Cedars-Sinai hospital when a dark Cadillac Escalade plowed into them, sideswiping the ambulance and knocking a mirror. The pair then saw Michael Jackson exit the hospital, jump into the Escalade and flee the scene.
Mauro has photos of Jackson getting into the car. “We were hit by the Escalade, and I was taking pictures for my company insurance. About 30 seconds after, Jackson walked out of a medical building. He jumped into the Escalade and they sped off.”
Both EMTs were banged up in the accident and will be seeing doctors today. Can we smell the lawsuits already?

Shia Opens Up About Injury

It’s been nine months since Shia LaBeouf’s hand was mangled in an auto accident, but the actor still doesn’t have full use of his fingers.
Shia told EW about his progress. “I’ve had screws and plates put in. They put a screw in one of my knuckles. And they shaved a piece of bone off my hip and made a [bone for my] finger out of it.”
Ouch! That sounds painful. But that’s not all. “I’m on my third surgery. That’s coming up in a week or two [from April 2]. My middle finger is still crooked as a f—ing noodle, so they’ve gotta straighten it out and put a screw in it.”
Will the hand ever be back to normal? “Probably about 80-something percent. I’ll be able to make a fist again. There’s a knuckle I’ll never be able to move again, but that’s probably the only permanent damage, other than the scarring.”
While the accident was ruled to be not Shia’s fault, he had his license suspended for a year due to his refusal to take a breathalyzer test. Maybe if he hadn’t been drinking and driving that night, he’s still have both his license and full use of his hand.

Another Fender Bender For Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan can’t seem to stay out of trouble, even when she lets somebody else drive. Yesterday, she managed to duck an arrest warrant but last night, she was back to her partying ways.
E! reports the actress was sitting in the passenger seat of an SUV outside the Mondrian Hotel on the Sunset Strip at 3:30 am when her driver crashed into a wall. Linds had to stay in the car, surrounded by paparazzi, until a report was taken of the accident.
I’d suggest that Lindsay start opting for quiet gatherings at home rather than club crawling, but since those would involve her embattled GF Samantha Ronson, that probably wouldn’t work out too well, either.
