He’s in hot water over steroid use and Madonna seems to have dumped him for her model boy toy, but Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez celebrated Valentine’s Day in style. Page Six reports that A-Rod spent a quiet Friday night hanging with Ingrid Casares at the Scarpetta restaurant in the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach.

But he was much busier Saturday, being photographed with model Melissa Britos during the day, then hitting Prime 112 in South Beach with “three hot chicks.” A source told Page Six, ”He left with the stunning blonde at, like, 3 a.m.”

Well, it’s nice to know the negative publicity isn’t cutting into his love life. It may be putting a squeeze on his wallet, though, when that sponsor money stops coming.

In an effort to clean up his image following those nasty revelations about his steroid use, Alex Rodriguez has slunk back to the wife and kids he dumped for Madonna—and the singer is furious. The NY Daily News reports that a source dished:

“Madge is pissed! Alex ran right home to Cynthia, and to Madonna, this is the ultimate dis.But Alex’s handlers want to make sure he’s as far from Madonna as possible. He has enough negative publicity as it is.”

But doesn’t Madonna have her model boy toy Jesus to keep her warm at night? The source reports:

“Madonna and A-Rod have been burning up the phones, and she keeps on insisting that Jesus is just a PR stunt. Alex says he understands, and now he’s asking her to understand that salvaging his career is his priority.”

I guess salvaging his family isn’t. Hope those kids don’t get too attached to Daddy before Madge snaps him back.

According to Fox News, Alex Rodriguez is beginning to feel the repercussions of his admitted use of steroids. As Michael Phelps found out, those big companies that pay major fees to endorse their products expect their athletes to be squeaky clean—at least in public.

One of A-Rod’s recent lucrative endeavors was a commercial for “Guitar Hero World Tour” along with Michael Phelps and Kobe Bryant. Wonder what unlucky exec brokered that one? This endorsement is headed down the drain, with Nike likely to follow. Why is so much flack expected from clients? A source told Fox News:

“There is an incredible backlash due to the fact that he was supposed to save baseball from the whole Barry Bonds steroid incident and as it turns out he’s done the same thing. While there has been no official word of lost endorsement deals, the assumption is that he definitely will lose some because his image has been tainted.”

Like leaving his wife and little kids to fool around with Madonna didn’t taint it?

In a revealing interview with ESPN, Yankee slugger and sometime Madonna flame Alex Rodriguez has admitted to using steroids during his tenure with the Texas Rangers, starting in 2001.

“When I arrived in Texas in 2001, I felt an enormous amount of pressure. I felt like I had all the weight of the world on top of me and I needed to perform, and perform at a high level every day.

“Back then, [baseball] was a different culture. It was very loose. I was young. I was stupid. I was naive. And I wanted to prove to everyone that I was worth being one of the greatest players of all time.

“I did take a banned substance. And for that, I am very sorry and deeply regretful.”

We’re sure he is but seriously doubt he’ll get off that easily.

Page Six is reporting that NY Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez is trying to unload the family home he shared with ex-wife Cynthia and their two kids and looking at posh new digs with new love Madonna. A real estate source reported the two are “discreetly looking at properties between Fifth and Park avenues, from just above 60th Street through the 80s.

“Madonna personally came to look at one house a couple of months ago, and Alex has been looking recently. We’re talking about private, double-width mansions in the vicinity of $30 million to $60 million.”

Meanwhile, A-Rod has slashed the price of his old pad at Trump Park Avenue to $10 million, down from $14 million. Looks like Madonna will be paying most of the bills—again.

NY Yankee slugger and bad dad Alex Rodriguez couldn’t be bothered to spend all Thanksgiving day with his two small children but ditched them to run into the arms of new girlfriend Madonna. A-Rod spent Thanksgiving afternoon having dinner in Miami with ex-wife Cynthia and their daughters Natasha, 4, and Ella, 7 months, but left to spend the evening with the singer at her home on Star Island. If this is what those kids get for the holidays now, I guess they shouldn’t expect daddy to show up for school plays or dance recitals.

New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez spent a very public Tuesday evening in Miami with his ex-wife and kids but last night he was in the front row at Madonna’s concert at Dolphin Stadium Wednesday night, handing her a bottle of water. A witness reported to E! News. “He was all excited watching her perform.” The new pair spent Wednesday exploring Miami with longtime Madonna friend and party promoter Ingrid Casares, who introduced the two.

While her boys hang out with dad in London, Madonna is gushing like a schoolgirl over new love Alex Rodriguez. Sources quote Madonna as saying the NY Yankee “has the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body.” A-Rod better hope his teammates don’t hear about that or they’ll never let him live it down.

New York Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez paid a visit to his gym in West Hollywood’s Sunset Plaza. Shouldn’t those workouts he’s getting with Madonna be enough to keep him in shape?

Looks like Madonna got the effect she wanted when she dressed little Rocco in a NY Yankees T-shirt. US Weekly is reporting that Rocco’s dad Guy Richie is “in pieces” after seeing the photo of his son flaunting the team of Madonna’s alleged lover Alex Rodriguez. A source on the set of Richie’s film “Sherlock Holmes” states “he’s actually been crying over it.” But the source doesn’t expect Richie to take this lying down. “He won’t sink to her level but she better watch out because it seems he has a lot on her.” And we can’t wait to hear it all!

Madonna used their son Rocco to deliver a snide message to her soon-to-be-ex Guy Ritchie. Rocco was photographed at a play center in Chelsea Piers this week wearing a navy T-shirt bearing the logo of the New York Yankees. That’s the team of Madonna’s “secret” squeeze A-Rod. Ouch!

The Madonna-Guy Richie rumors are flying faster than her overworked publicist can shoot them down. But after years of working for the always media-savvy star, she must be used to it by now. Today Liz Rosenberg denied stories that the couple had already worked out a settlement. But then, she’s lied to us before. Today’s juiciest tales revolve around Madonna’s alleged affair with the freshly-divorced Alex Rodriguez. Madonna is reputedly abandoning London to return to New York, where A-Rod plans to buy his own digs just a couple of blocks away. Cozy! There’s also talk that she hopes to have A-Rod’s baby. Yeah, we know she’s 50 but what difference does that make these days?

This is going to be messy. First, Madonna and Guy have a kid of their own, plus Madonna has daughter Lourdes and adopted son David. Second, there was reportedly no prenuptial agreement between Guy and Madonna and she’s worth $500 million or so. Not to mention, there divorce will come under English law, which are more ruthless than American laws concerning divorce! Lastly, Madonna is reportedly already involved romantically with New York Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez!

US Weekly is reporting that Madonna and A-Rod have been seeing each for since early July of this year and that Guy and Madonna have been privately separated for over a year. It’s sad for all involved but it’s Alex I feel sorry for the most. Sure, the kids – it’s always terrible when kids are involved in divorce – but it seems like they’ve had a year already to deal with this so who knows, they may already be over it! But it’s Alex it’s I feel for. Alex is 33 years old. Madonna is 50! Guy was closer to Madonna’s age at 40 and that didn’t work out and he expects a bigger age difference to be the answer. Unlikely. Maybe he thinks that since they’re both from New York it’ll work out. Again, unlikely as Madonna sees herself as something above being a New Yorker or American for that matter. In fact, I secretly believe she hates America!

Can Alex and Madonna have a serious relationship? Have they timed their divorces so that they can really be together? Remember Alex’s wife filed for divorce after growing tired of his ‘extramarital’ affairs. Was Madonna the extra in extramarital?  So many questions.

Well, if anything, let’s hope my new nickname catches on and everyone starts referring to them as A-Madge. That’d be sweet!

Either this has to be the most calculated p.r. stunt ever, or the moons must have aligned for Madonna. She’ll be starting a tour soon and everyone’s talking about her. Granted, a lot of the conversation are probably not too positive. Take this Alex Rodriguez thing, for example. His wife, Cynthia, has now filed for divorce from the baseball superstar, and a lot of folks are pointing their fingers at the Material Mom as the cause. Cynthia’s lawyer even told People Magazine that although Madonna and Alex’s relationship was “an affair of the heart” and not “sexual infidelity”, his relationship with the singer was the last straw for the slugger’s wife. Ah, what a tangled web they’ve all weaved. Let’s be fair to Madonna, though, because it does sound like she’s becoming a scapegoat for a marriage that was already on the rocks (Alex has been accused of infidelity before). Still, Madge has had her share of controversies and all this news is just fanning the flames of her ticket sales. She’s been through the ringer and this controversy is not going to kill her (or her career). Trust. Good luck to Cynthia, though.

Well, ladies and gents, even though Guy Ritchie is now in the same city as his wife and kids, the divorce rumors are still swirling. In fact, they’re getting stronger and getting a tad more interesting. There are tons of stories out now linking the Material Girl to New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod, mind you, is also married and has two children. Us Weekly’s new issue has a huge feature on the Madonna/A-Rod “friendship.” In the article, one source told Us that Alex visited Madonna at her Central Park apartment just one day after his wife gave birth to their second daughter. Yes, very scandalous and just plain wrong. Madonna’s reps are, of course, denying any connection between the two besides having the same manager in Guy O’Seary. Who to believe, who to believe. I’m all for Madge and Guy working things out, so let’s hope this is all hog-wash. But I have a feeling this is just the beginning of more Material Mama drama.
