Ashley & Jared’s Paty Date

Our photogs spotted sweethearts Ashley Tisdale and Jared Murillo leaving Ash’s home yesterday. The duo were on their way to Paty’s in Toluca Lake for a little chow down. Afterwards, the couple headed to a Hollywood recording studio. Ash’s day didn’t end there, though. The High School Musical actress performed a private show at the Knitting Factor in Hollywood for the winners of a Degreegirl.com contest. Yes, she had quite a day yesterday. What’s next for Ms. Tisdale, besides the October release of HSM3? Well, she has a movie coming out next February called They Came from Upstairs, which looks to be an adventure/fantasy flick. Ashley’s Big Brown Bag

Our photogs spotted High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale shopping at the Westfield Center yesterday in Sherman Oaks. Ash was brown baggin’ it, stopping by Bloomingdales for some goodies. While shopping with her mom, Ashley even bumped into fellow HSM-er and BFF, Vanessa Hudgens, at Sunglass Hut. Yeah, I guess after finishing up filming for HSM3, these two have all the time in the world to shop. Good times for them. Ashley, who turned twenty-three on July 2, is looking to branch into more mature roles. Disney recently announced a spin-off of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody called The Suite Life on Deck, which will feature all of the former’s cast members, sans Ashley. High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale took her cute self shopping in Beverly Hills this weekend. Hey, why not, right? Ash just finished filming HSM3 in Utah and she deserves to celebrate a little bit. Ashley recently talked to the Boston Herald about playing teen roles (she’s 23 years old). “I think that if I can play young as long as I can, that would be awesome, because once you change into that adult phase, you can’t really go back. So I want to play these characters for as long as I can.” Very true, Ash. Very true. But Ashley is also running the risk of being typecast, so she might want to start getting into juicier (and older) roles soon. Just a suggestion. Darn Weather

We had pretty strange weather here in Southern California during the Memorial Day weekend and it definitely affected a bunch of people’s weekend plans. Ashley Tisdale was all set to spend the weekend with her mom and grandma at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, but the trio had to return early due to the weather. Our photogs caught up with Ash as she was settling back into town. She’s a nice little lady, that Ashley. She made sure to help her mom and grandma get all their stuff from the car. After that was done, she went on a little coffee run before going to a nail salon for some pampering. Hey, you don’t have to go to Santa Barbara for pampering. Good times.
High School Musical 4 Already?

“We are writing High School Musical 4.” This is what Disney Channel Worldwide President Rich Ross told the Hollywood Reporter Tuesday. Although they have yet to start filming High School Musical 3, Disney is already in the works to put out HSM4. Ross did tell Hollywood Reporter that he doesn’t think all the original cast members will be back, but they’ll be introducing new characters in HSM3. Vanessa Hudgens already said that HSM3 would be her last, as did Ashley Tisdale. I’m going to assume Zac is also not returning in the fourth installment. Who knows, though. For the right price, we might see the same cast in HSM4. In the meantime, filming for HSM3 will begin later on this month in Utah.
