The AP reports Kutcher announced his triumph by Tweeting “Victory is ours!” I don’t see what this really proves except that a lot of people would rather follow what an actor is doing than keep up with the news of the world. Well, the news is pretty depressing lately.

Bruce Willis celebrated his 54th birthday in style—by marrying 32-year-old model Emma Heming this weekend.

People reports the couple tied the knot Saturday in a private ceremony at the actor’s home in Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos. Wedding guests included ex-wife Demi Moore, their three daughters and her current husband Ashton Kutcher.

The pair still have to make it legal in the U.S., so a civil ceremony is planned in CA after the honeymoon. Congrats!

Ashton Kutcher has finally put the Beverly Hills home where he lived in his single days on the market. The LA Times says the luxury crib has six bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 4,860 square feet. The actor is asking $3.7 million.

Perfect for entertaining the ladies, the home sports a full bar and wine storage, master suite with double limestone baths, double closets, a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace plus pool, spa, a putting green and a three-car garage.

Wonder why Ashton waited so long after his 2005 wedding to Demi Moore to unload his old digs? Was he waiting to see if it worked out?

The folks at PETA are at it again, using celebs to get media for their cause. Now US Weekly reports they’re naming Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher as the No. 1 and 2 Worst Dressed Celebrities on their annual “Worst Dressed” poll.

The group said of Moore, “She may be a cougar, but that’s not helping fur-loving Demi Moore in the eyes of animal lovers.” They also dissed Kutcher for wearing a coyote coat at the Sundance Film Festival last month.

I love animals and all that but I wouldn’t mind having a coat made from the coyote that ate my cat. Does PETA actually do anything constructive for animals, like finding them homes, or just shill for more funds? 

Ashton Kutcher has posted to his MySpace blog, basically trying to explain all the other stuff he’s ranted about elsewhere. On the subjects of his anger about construction next door, the  Michael Phelps pot scandal and wife Demi Moore, he states: 

“I do not think that going off on my neighbor was a horribly offensive thing to do. I have been woken up every morning for the last four months by hammering and construction on a structure that is very close to our property line after being told the land was being purchased to build a park. Yes, there may have been a more diplomatic way to do it and maybe broadcasting it for the net wasn’t the wisest choice.”

“I don’t smoke marijuana and any statement to the contrary is a lie. I simply feel that Michael Phelps is entitled to his privacy. The kid made a mistake (he is only human) and anyone who has been in the public eye knows the magnification of minor missteps can be blown way out of proportion. Yes he is a role model and a great one at that.”

“I find it exceedingly disappointing that the press coverage of my wife and my blog posts have not included the philanthropic pursuits that we have adopted and encourage. Our intention in becoming more active on the web has been with the effort to connect to the community in an effort to create a greater bond with the amazing fans that we have adopted over several years.”

Hey, look on the bright side, Ashton. At least people are paying attention to you.

Demi Moore showed off her perfect stems in a dress with a sky-high slit. She and husband Ashton Kutcher were making a dramatic entrance to Friday night’s pre-Golden Globes bash at the Buffalo Club in Santa Monica thrown by CAA in honor of Tom Cruise. Love Ashton’s velvet jacket and Demi’s shiny red heels!

Ashton Kutcher has been coaching the Harvard-Westlake School’s football team and recently updated his myspace blog. He talks about how he feels like he’s the one learning here, and that this opportunity has allowed him to conquer fears he had. He says:

A lot of people have asked me why I decided to start coaching. I’ve thought about it a lot because at first I would say “it’s just something I’ve always wanted to do” but to be honest there are a lot of things I’ve always wanted to do. So as I dig deeper I’ve actually found that the truth is that it’s something I’ve always been afraid to do. I was afraid of the time commitment. I was afraid that I would look stupid. I was afraid that the players wouldn’t listen to my football advice, I was afraid that the advice that I gave wouldn’t be very good. I’ve have many situations in my life where I’ve had an opportunity to extend my self and walked away for many of those reasons. And though coaching a football team is no great step for man kind I finding that it’s a great step for me and that I’m not there to teach them they are there to teach me.

It’s amazing how much he’s matured in the past few years. I still watch reruns of That 70’s Show and its funny to think that Michael Kelso grew up to be such a well-rounded father figure. Kudos to Kutcher!

A very funny PSA from A-list celebrities on the value of voting in this years coming election who realistically, probably don’t themselves. I know Leo doesn’t vote because he’s too afraid he’ll be photographed at the polls! But hey, who’s not interested in being pounded over the head with a message by people much richer, more powerful and more beautiful than you? Sarah Silverman and Jonah Hill are the highlights, even though Jonah’s been losing some weight, he’s still pretty funny.

A very boisterous Ashton Kutcher helped coach Harvard-Westlake’s Freshman football team to a third straight victory by defeating Rosemead High School last week. Ashton makes some pretty cool coaching faces and you can tell he seriously gets into the games. I’m not sure what Ashton actually coaches as there are many types of football coaches but he seems to be enjoying his time on the field.

Is Ashton old enough to feel nostalgic about the good ol’ days?

Week 2 of Harvard Westlake’s freshman football season saw H.W. defeat Lynwood High School 14-0. Ashton Kutcher’s record as coach now sees him move to a perfect 2-0 and it’s starting to bring out the band wagoner’s. Check out Ashton’s step-daughter Scout Willis in the background cheering on Ashton’s team. To be honest, she wasn’t really cheering, she was in fact screaming Ashton’s name, trying to get his attention to introduce him to her friend. But hey, it’s all good.

Don’t say women are the only ones who are catty because guys can get just as bad. Case in point – Justin Timberlake. The ‘SexyBack’ star graces the new issue of Fashion Rocks magazine and he talks about the sickening fashion trend that was the trucker hat and his role in its rise to fame. “It’s funny,” Justin says in the new issue of the magazine. “I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before. Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen.” Trace, of course, is Justin’s childhood friend and partner in his Rast fashion line. This story is amusing at all levels because, hello, truckers have been wearing trucker hats for, like, ever. Even longer than forever, I think. So, really, why even call out Ashton Kutcher? Is this really necessary? They’re trucker hats for goodness sakes. Trucker. Hats. Go meow about something else, Justin.
