Ben Affleck has supposedly been sober since that stint in Promises for alcohol abuse back in 2001, but the actor has fallen off the wagon in a very public way. Affleck was spotted at a party in Park City, Utah, this weekend, swigging vodka!
The actor was at the Sundance Film Festival, attending the after party for DirecTV’s “The Company Men” when he sat down at a XIP table and poured himself a shot of Absolut vodka, then continued to drink while talking to Tommy Lee Jones.
Meanwhile, wife Jennifer Garner was back home in L.A. with the couple’s two daughters. Could Ben’s relapse be one reason for those rumors of trouble in his marriage?

Ben And Jen’s Stalker In Jail

Superstar couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner can rest easier tonight, knowing the man who’s been stalking them is behind bars. Jennifer obtained a restraining order against Pennsylvania native Steven Burky in November 2008, but this week he violated it by showing up at her daughter Violet’s school. Now jailed on $150,000 bail, Burky could get up to four years in the slammer if convicted. How scary is it to have this guy turn up at a nursery school that caters to the kids of celebrities?

Jennifer Garner looks every inch the glamorous movie star on the cover of W, but she still manages to convince readers she’s all about her home, cooking and her two little girls. But she also makes the startling admission that she enjoys the company of her girlfriends more than that of her hunky hubby, Ben Affleck!
Jen told W, “I miss my girlfriends! That’s the hardest thing about being on location when it’s not for your own project. When it’s for you, you’re on set with everybody you know, but if not, it’s lonely. I can live with Ben working crazy hours. But I can’t live without girlfriends around to talk about men with! It’s fine if he’s not there; I just need someone to bitch about it to!”
Wow! It sounds like there’s a lot about Ben for her to “bitch” about!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner always appear to be one of the happiest couples in Hollywood, but are they having problems?
The Star claims the actress has been seen visiting author and therapist Dr. Holly Hein recently. A source stated, “Jennifer has had some ups and downs with Ben, and she likes to check in with Dr. Hein once in a while.”
So is life with a movie star not all bliss? “Ben’s great, but he can be very insecure. He likes Jen to play the devoted wife all the time.”
So being a wife, an actress and a mom isn’t enough? That’s guys for you—they want it all!
