You might be all paying more attention to his tween queen sensation daughter, Miley Cyrus, but Billy Ray hasn’t stopped making music. In fact, the man still makes music and performs around the country. Next up, he’s performing at the Walworth County Fair in Wisconsin. Don’t hate on the county fair gig - he might not be doing Hannah Montana shows, but I’m sure he’s enjoying just playing some music. AND, it’s his birthday today. Happy 47th, Billy Ray! Billy Ray - His Dog’s BFF

While superstar daughter Miley Cyrus was riding her bike with friends around their neighborhood yesterday, Billy Ray Cyrus was out walking his dog. And look how happy he is walking his canine friend. Aww, you know these two have been together awhile. Billy Ray actually walked the dog twice yesterday - once in the morning and the second time in the afternoon. Yes, our photogs caught him walking his dog the two times they spotted him. Check out how tired the dog looks in the picture below. The dog’s probably like - “gimme a break, Billy Ray. I’m seven years old!” Yeah, that’s what his dog was thinking and I do dog whispering at my other job. Anyway, back to BR. Miley’s dad just finished up the Nashville Star finale a couple of days ago and he’ll be playing the WE Fest this weekend in Detroit Lakes, MN. Achy Breaky Heart

Who knew the guy who sang “Achy Breaky Heart” would be fathering the biggest Disney star in the world? Our photogs spotted Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, posing on his hog for the photogs. Yeah, I tried to make that rhyme, but it just sounds funny. Billy Ray was riding around on his motorcycle in Toluca Lake yesterday. Billy Ray is co-starring in the upcoming Hannah Montana movie, but he also has other movies in the works. He just completed Flying By with Heather Locklear and he’s in a comedy with Bill Engvall called Bait Shop, which is coming out this September. Good times for Miley’s dad. Update: Miley’s Keeping Mum

Update: Miley and family are still keeping mum about the racy pictures (supposedly) of her all over the internet. Randomly, Bill O’Reilly is taking up the Miley cause. Bill has called for a conference to discuss the leaked photos. “Look, we have so few role models, particularly for little girls in this country,” he said on his show Wednesday. “She is the main one. I hate to see this.” He sounds sincere, but we all know Bill O’Reilly also loves publicity. Either way, I’m still waiting for Miley to comment on the pics, although I think she’s just going to wait until this all dies down.
Our favorite teen sensation Miley Ray Cyrus is keeping mum about her supposed provocative pics circling around the net. Is it really her? Her mom/manager Tish and dad Billy Ray haven’t released a statement about the photos. I saw the pics and they look like Miley. She’s so young, I was a bit thrown off by the sexy poses. Okay, I know there are racier photos on MySpace, but special attention is being pointed towards Miley because of her fan base. Every little girl in America knows Hannah Montana, after all. In other Miley news, Disney will be publishing the teen star’s memoirs next spring. The book’s mainly going to be about her rise to fame with the assistance of her mom, Tish. Well, let’s hope she’s still Disney-esque by next spring.
Get Your Cowboy Boots On

If you’re a country music fan, or just a Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus admirer, then you’re not going to want to miss the CMT Music Awards tonight. The famous father and daughter team are co-hosting the awards show taking place in Nashville, TN. They’ll also be peforming, along with Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, among others. It’s on tonight at 8 pm on CMT. Um, CMT means Country Music Television, just in case you didn’t know. There are going to be a lot of non-country music fans (read: tweens) tuning in just for Miley, after all.
