One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Schlemeel, schlemazel, hasenfeffer incorporated. We’re gonna do it…! And the theme song continued. Who didn’t love Laverne & Shirley? I tried to find a solo picture of Cindy Williams as Shirley because it’s her 61st birthday today (yes, she’s 61), but I had no luck. Oh, well. We’ll just have to do with this lovely pic of Cindy and co-star Penny Marshall (who didn’t love her ‘L’ imprint on every outfit as Laverne?). Happy birthday, Shirley! You are still fabulous! We all know and love her as Samantha on Sex and the City, but every ’80s kid became a Kim Cattrall fan when she appeared in Mannequin with Andrew McCarthy. Kim played Emmy the mannequin twenty-one years ago and she was just fabulous. She’s still fabulous and sexy these days and today she turns 52. Happy birthday, Kim! You make 52 look so good. Robert Anthony Plant was born sixty-years ago in England. In those sixty years some would say that Robert Plant has made quite a contribution to music. Okay, maybe not just quite - he’s made A LOT of contribution to music. Led Zeppelin. There’s really nothing else to say but the band’s name for all of us to realize exactly what Mr. Plant has done for music. Gotta’ love him. Happy 60th birthday, Robert Plant. I don’t care what anyone says, Drama is my favorite character in Entourage. I always try to root for the underdog and there’s no better underdog than Drama. Besides, Vince’s older bro makes omelettes for the guys and what could be better, right? The actor who plays Drama, Kevin Dillon, turns 43 today, so I celebrate him. Happy birthday, Kevin. Robert Redford has had so many great movies - from The Sting to All The President’s Men. He’s played every sort of character there is, but my favorite is still his coupling with Barbra Streissand in The Way We Were. Oh, how I adored Hubbell Gardner. And so did Barbra’s character, but we all know how that ended. Anyway, the Oscar winning actor/director/producer turns 72 today. Happy birthday, Robert Redford! Other folks celebrating with Hubbell:
