Is This What Angie Got For Her Bday?

Maybe it’s going to be the diaper changing table. Brad Pitt recently dropped more than $290,000 on the above marble table. It’s a hollow white marble rococo-style table by the Dutch designer Jeroen Verhoeven. Brad was in Switzerland on Tuesday attending Art Basel, which is one of the world’s largest art fair. Most folks attend the event to look at all the contemporary art, but I guess Brad got lured into shopping. He is actually a huge architecture buff, as well as a furniture hound. I heard he even builds his own furniture, but I guess he didn’t have time to design a marble table on his own, so he had to get this one. I’m hoping this is not what he gave to Angie for her birthday. I’m hot saying it’s not a beautiful piece…okay, I think it’s ugly, but still. Let’s hope he opted for an ice cream cake and some flowers instead.
No Babies Yet

Despite reports that she just gave birth to her twins, Angelina Jolie is still preggy and having a good time with her family in France. People.com confirmed with Angie’s rep and this is what they had to say: “Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.” Angelina and Brad recently signed a 3-year lease for a chateau in the French Riviera and reports say that the couple are still deciding whether or not to stay in France for the delivery. Angelina and Brad are expecting twins and the newbies will be numbers 5 & 6 for the couple.
Twins, Twins, Twins

Yes, yes, yes, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting twins. Okay, I know everyone and their mamas have been saying this all along, but I was waiting for the couple to confirm it. Angelina finally confirmed the twin news while doing an interview with the Today Show in Cannes. The interview is airing tonight on Access Hollywood, if you’re interested in seeing it. Angie was doing press for Kung Fu Panda (it’s an animated feature) with Jack Black when she blurted out the news. This will be numbers 5 & 6 for the Jolie-Pitt family. Congrats.
Brangie Makes Influential List

People Magazine isn’t the only one making their top 100 list this week. Time Magazine just announced their list for the 2008 100 Most Influential People. I don’t think Rumer Willis is on this list, but Brad Pitt and Angelien Jolie are. In fact, Bradley and Angie ranked higher than Oprah on the list. The couple were number 21 while the media mogul was number 22. Okay, they barely beat the O, but they still got the win. Pal George Clooney wrote a special article commending the couple. “It is one thing to talk about the problems of the world and quite another to actually try to change things,” he wrote. He then talked about the Jolie-Pitts’ humanitarian work all over the world, including Pakistan and Darfur. It’s true Angie and Bradley have become quite the humanitarian couple and I’m glad they’ve been recognized. If you want to check out the other influential folks, you can go to www.time.com.
Brad Pitt: Crime Pays

OK, maybe he didn’t say it, but the back of his leather rideing jacket says so, so by default, he’s promoting it. Check out the pics below. Now, I’m not saying crime does in fact pay, but Brad, or Bradley as Haydee likes to call him, was sporting a Crime Pays jacket for all the world to see last week. I’ve lost count how many motorcycles this guy has. Sure, he can afford them and all, but seriously, if I had Angelina and all those kids waiting at home for me, I’d probably hire an armored car to chauffeur me around just to be safe.
