How happy are her fans going to be when they hear this news? According to Usmagazine.com, Britney’s currently working on a new album. Her vocal producer and co-writer, Jim Beanz, confirmed it for the mag. It seems just like yesterday when I was looking at photos of a very distraught Brit riding a gurney on the way to the hospital, and now this. My, how time and a lot of support from Daddy Spears have changed Britty-Brit. And how is Ms. Britney doing in the studio, you might be wondering? “Britney is amazing,” Jim told Us, “we never see anything but positives out of her.” Leave the drama at home, right Brit? Right. Happy news for a happy Friday.
Going Back Home

Britney’s going back to Louisiana, y’all! Well, she’ll be there for the meantime, anyway. People.com is reporting that Brit will be going back to Kentwood this week to be by Jamie Lynn’s side during the last leg of her pregnancy. Jamie Lynn has not been feeling well and I’m sure she’d love to have her older sis by her side while she’s going through her first preggy experience. It was also noted on People that daddy Spears is planning to sell Brit’s Studio City home. This is yet another step in Britney’s comeback. The magazine’s source said that “having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time.” It would definitely be a great move for the troubled pop star. Let’s hope they find a place closer to the two boys, so their mama can see them more often. Keep up the good work, Brit.
Valley Girl

Word on the street (and TMZ) is that Britney Spears will be moving out of her Hollywood Hills enclave and heading to the valley. Yes, Brit’s going to be a valley girl. Good times! She’s supposedly looking in the San Fernando Valley and specifically in Calabasas. Reportedly she’s house-hunting like crazy and wants to find something soon. This move could be good for her and the kids, since she’ll be living much closer to Kevin. See, it’s all starting to fall into place for Britney. It’s good to see her taking some active steps in the right direction.

I love this picture of Britney working out with a friend at Bally’s in Studio City. She’s laughing out loud, you can tell. I’m sure it was a Sex and the City moment and Brit’s friend was telling her about a disastrous date. Yes, let’s just all imagine that. People.com talked to Palms Casino Resort owner George Maloof and he said Britney was doing well. The two had dinner while Maloof was in town from Sin City. George also told the mag that he would love to have Brit perform at the hotel’s Pearl Theater. Brit is currently in Vegas with her dad, Jamie, celebrating an extended Father’s Day weekend. How super sweet! I’m glad to hear Brit’s doing well, as I’m sure all her fans are. Good times on a Friday!
Lynne Spears To Pen A Memoir

This is definitely perfect timing for a book! Lynne Spears, mom to Britney and Jamie Lynn, will be writing a memoir, according to Usweekly.com. The tile of the book is Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World and it’s slated for a September release. The book will be put out by Christian publishing company Thomas Nelson. Their rep, Curt Harding, told the magazine that Lynne will be writing about the dark period(s?) of Britney’s life. She will also tell her own family story to begin the book. Curt told the mag that folks will be surprised reading about a much stronger Lynne than the public perceives. I totally believe this about Lynne. Everyone’s giving daddy Spears all the credit for Brit’s improvement as of late, but I’m sure Lynne had a big part of it, too. Well, I’m sure the book will be a big hit and an interesting read.
