Britney Back In Court

Britney Spears made an unexpected appearance today at a hearing concerning her plans to tour next year. Her father Jamie controls her affairs due to a conservatorship arrangement. Court spokesman Allan Parachini said during a brief press conference after the hearing:
“There isn’t a lot I can tell you about it. There was discussion of Ms. Spears’ future immediate business plans. Particularly touring in support of her album… It was about the tour professional. She has an album that is coming out. All of what is necessary to support the album.”
Dad Jamie seemed to be handling Britney rather roughly as he shielded her face from the photgraphers outside the courthouse. Meanwhile, her assistant picked up her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James from pre-school.
Britney Makes A Starbucks Run

Britney Spears stopped by a Starbucks for her latte fix in Studio City, CA, after the screening of her upcoming MTV documentary in Hollywood. She then headed for the Showbiz Studio in Van Nuys. Hey, a girl needs her caffeine when she’s busy working on her career!

Friday, November 21st, 2008So yesterdays screening of the MTV documentary ‘For The Record’ didn’t go as well for some fans than others, and those others didn’t seem to be blown away by how the event was handled. Reports of Britney being distant and nervous have been sprouting up on Britney fan sites all morning. We were at the studio where the screening was held and talked to some fans before we caught a quick glimpse of Britney entering the studio. Britney Spears looked very sexy in a revealing black vest as she arrived at Ren-Mar studios in Hollywood for a private screening of her upcoming MTV documentary “Britney: For the Record.” 200 lucky Brit fans were chosen to attend this screening with the star. The rest of us can see it on MTV November 30. The portions of this show that have been leaked find Britney talking very frankly about the last two years of her life and her feelings right now.
