Nicole Morier of the band Electrocute has confirmed what we already knew here at JFX—Britney Spears wrote the song “Mmm Papi” for Adnan Ghalib. Morier helped Brit write the song, which appears on the new “Circus” album, and told  Us Weekly that it’s “about someone. I’m sure you can guess.” The lyrics include “You love it when I’m freaking out / Things get rough and there’s no doubt / You will always be there for me.”

Although Britney and Adnan have not been seen together in public in quite awhile, there have been rumors that they are still in contact and are still dating. Brit’s been seen recently wearing a ring that Adnan gave her which matches his own. 

Britney Spears was a big winner at tonight’s MTV Europe Awards in Liverpool, England, taking home trophies for Act of the Year 2008 and Album of the Year. Brit didn’t attend the show—she’s back in L.A., hopefully getting ready for her rumored appearance with Justin Timberlake at Madonna’s Dodger Stadium concert.
