Carmelo Apologizes For Arrest

Denver Nugget star Carmelo Anthony issued an apology for his arrest for driving under the influence on Monday. “I want to apologize to my family, fans and the Denver Nuggets organization for my actions early Monday morning,” he said. “I regret putting myself in this situation. I also want to apologize to my teammates for the distraction this has caused.” Carmelo’s fiancee, MTV host LaLa Vasquez also cleared up the air about reports of her refusal to pick up Carmelo from the police station. What’s up with professional athletes drinking too much, especially during the season? The Nuggets are trying to clinch the last spot in the Western Conference right now and he’s just causing distractions. Thank goodness no one was hurt in the incident.
