BFF: Britney Spears And Irony

So of all days, Britney was involved in a minor fender bender while on her way to Wasteland clothing store on Melrose earlier today. Britney was not driving but she was in the back seat as her bodyguard backed into a vehicle driven by a paparazzi. Britney being Britney, she didn’t let a little something like that keep her from her appointed shopping rounds and continued shopping.

Brit’s Lawyer Rejects Plea

An attorney for Britney Spears rejected a plea offer from city prosecutors that would have Britney serve probation for one year and pay a $150 fine in the misdemeanor driving without a license case. Brit’s attorney J. Michael Flanagan said that he’d consider an offer that would reduce the charge to an infraction and a $10 fine, charging that Britney is being unfairly treated because she is a celebrity. The charges stem from the 2007 incident where Britney essentially hit-and-run a parked car in Hollywood.
